Pat Cipollone to Appear Before Grand Jury Tomorrow and Will Provide Critical Testimony

The seriousness of the Florida files case has caused a lot of people to almost forget about the January 6th investigation, which says a lot about the seriousness of the possible charges down in Mar-a-Lago (Possible espionage). But Congress and the federal grand jury are obviously not done with their investigation of January 6th, and tomorrow is a major day. Trump’s White House counsel will be testifying to the federal criminal grand jury.

Yes, much of the testimony will be prohibited by attorney-client privilege, but much of it won’t. Cipollone will have to testify about why he told Cassidy Hutchinson to prevent Trump from going to the Capitol or “We’ll be charged with every crime imaginable.” Cipollone will have to testify about how he heard that Trump wanted to go to the Capitol, which could be very damaging. They will also have to testify about anything that happened in the presence of a non-lawyer.

From CNN (Linked Below):

Former White House counsel Pat Cipollone and his former deputy Patrick Philbin are expected to appear Friday before a grand jury in Washington, DC, that’s investigating the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol and the events leading up to it, a person familiar with the matter tells CNN.

CNN previously reported that Cipollone and Philbin had been subpoenaed in the federal criminal probe. Philbin and Cipollone, who worked in the White House counsel’s office, were both key witnesses to then-President Donald Trump’s actions in the last days of his presidency.

Cipollone and Philbin repeatedly pushed back on efforts to overturn the 2020 election and opposed a proposal to replace the attorney general with someone willing to look into false claims of election fraud. Both Philbin and Cipollone indicated that they would resign should such a plan be executed.

Hard to imagine that we almost forgot about a grand jury looking into seditious conspiracy and yet, we had.
