Watch as Trump Tells Sean Hannity He Could Just Declassify Top Secret Documents With His Mind

For well over a month now, Donald Trump and his hangers-on have been throwing anything they can find at the wall to explain why he just up and stole thousands of government documents, some of them highly classified. One of the most popular excuses was that as president, Trump could just declassify anything he wanted with his invisible presidential magic wand. Obviously it doesn’t work that way.

But now, Trump is taking it a step further and saying he just has to THINK about declassifying it and it is done. LOL.

In an interview with Sean Hannity, the host stated, “You have said on Truth Social, a number of times, you did declassify.”

“I did declassify,” Trump claimed, even though his attorneys have not made that case in courtrooms in Florida, New York, or Georgia.

“What was your process to declassify?” Hannity asked.

“There doesn’t have to be a process, as I understand it,” Trump replied. “You know, there’s different people, say different things.”

“If you’re the president of the United States, you can declassify just by saying, ‘it’s declassified’ — even by thinking about it,” Trump claimed.

Obviously, this is not true. “He can’t just wave a wand and say it’s declassified,” Richard Immerman, a historian and an assistant deputy director of national intelligence in the Obama administration, told NBC News back in August. “There has to be a formal process. That’s the only way the system can work.”

And according to Raw Story, “whether or not the documents were declassified is irrelevant to the three crimes the FBI said it was investigating in its search warrant application. The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled on Wednesday, “declassification argument is a red herring because declassifying an official document would not change its content or render it personal.”
