Hillary Clinton Gives Terrifying Warning: GOP Has ‘Plan to Literally Steal’ 2024 Election

Hillary Clinton is warning that Republicans “already have a plan” to steal the 2024 presidential election, according to The New York Post.

The former first lady, senator, and secretary of state could hardly paint a more dire picture.

“Right-wing extremists already have a plan to literally steal the next presidential election, and they’re not making a secret of it,” Clinton says in a video from Indivisible, a progressive organization.

“The right-wing-controlled Supreme Court may be poised to rule on giving state legislatures the power to overturn presidential elections,” Clinton warns, referring to a case the high court will be considering involving the invalidation of North Carolina’s congressional map by a state court.

That case, Moore v. Harper may give state legislatures additional power to regulate elections for federal office.

Clinton is now cautioning that this means the 2024 presidential election may not be decided by the popular vote “or even the anachronistic Electoral College, but by Republican-controlled state legislatures.

If you’re not scared of this, you’re not paying attention.

Clinton knows her subject matter well here. During the 2016 presidential election, Donald Trump won the Electoral College with 304 votes against Clinton’s 227. Clinton, however, received nearly 2.9 million more raw votes than her GOP rival did, making this the largest popular vote margin in favor of any defeated presidential candidate in the nation’s history, the New York Post reports.

In the aftermath of her loss, Clinton alleged the election was stolen from her, but for arguably less stupid reasons than Trump keeps complaining about in regard to his own loss in 2020. In a 2019 interview with CBS News, she compared it to “applying for a job and getting 66 million letters of recommendation and losing to a corrupt human tornado.”

“He knows he’s an illegitimate president,” she said in reference to Trump. “I believe he understands that the many varying tactics they used, from voter suppression and voter purging to hacking to the false stories — he knows that — there were a bunch of different reasons why the election turned out like it did.”

The New York Post added:

“Despite there being no evidence that the 2016 was anything but aboveboard, Clinton has insisted there is a “widespread understanding” that the election was not conducted legitimately.”

But unlike Trump, Clinton is not continually complaining about this, and if anything the 2016 presidential election revealed there are fundamental problems within the Electoral College. Problems that need fixing because the Electoral College wasn’t listening to the will of the voters and we all know what happened after that, now don’t we?
