This might be hilarious if it weren’t the stuff of nightmares but it looks like former President Donald Trump may be lining Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene for a job if he runs again in 2024.

That’s according to Rolling Stone, where two sources apparently told the publication that Trump is planning a team if he wins the 2024 presidential election and that’s when he thought of Greene.

“Wouldn’t she be great?” he allegedly told a friend earlier this year, according to one of the sources.

The other source purportedly said Trump has discussed giving Greene a position within the Department of Justice.

And that is why I mentioned this is the stuff of which nightmares are made. She is, after all, a right-winger who has promoted cockamamie conspiracy theories about school shootings, the COVID pandemic, and the 2020 election, and said that somehow Jewish space lasers were behind California’s deadly 2018 wildfires.

Greene has never kept her belief in QAnon conspiracy theories a secret — she was spouting them prior to being elected and attended a White nationalist conference last February, and later defending her decision to do so, Insider reports.

Her persistence in promoting conspiracy theories has seen her kicked off numerous social media platforms and it also resulted in her being removed from all congressional committee assignments. That, however, has not affected Trump’s opinion of her and she remains one of his most ardent supporters.

Greene has been a vocal critic of the FBI, especially after the agency raided Trump’s golf resort home to search for documents he removed from the White House when he left. She has called for the agency to be abolished in the aftermath, so it makes perfect sense that Trump may be considering her for a job within the DOJ. It’s even more convenient when you consider all the legal scandals he’s involved in.

Of course, who really knows what Trump is planning to do? After all, yesterday I reported that Michael Cohen believes Trump doesn’t plan to run in 2024 because it’s more difficult for him to continue his grifting if he does. Really, stories about this man continue to be all over the map, in part due to the fact that some folks are scared that he will run again, while others are scared that he won’t.

Either way, Trump undoubtedly enjoys much of the attention. That is, after all, what he’s about. Also undoubtedly, Greene’s ego is swooning over this.
