Ted Cruz broke a long string of extremely stupid self-inflicted wounds (figuratively speaking) and finally did something genius. Ted Cruz knows exactly which political theme will dominate and animate the sadistic Right-Wing for the next two years. Cruz knows that the Department of Justice is coming for Trump, they’re coming for Meadows, they’re coming for Stone, Navarro, and all the others that were involved on January 6th and the Florida files case. Ted Cruz wants the Right Wing to believe that DOJ is coming for them because Biden has “weaponized it.”

The Department of Justice is coming because, in the United States, the Constitution says how we pick people who win elections and how they’ll be counted, not the people with the most weapons outside the Mall on the Elipse, not a president reaching over a Secret Service car door.

It is with tragic irony that the guy who used the DOJ as a true weapon, pardoning his friends who were caught defending him (Russian hoax), refusing to cooperate with investigations, demanding loyalty from the FBI Director, and even used the DOJ’s attorneys to defend him in a defamation case about rape, is about to complain very loudly about Biden using the Department of Justice “weapnizing politics.”

Ted Cruz, being very smart – for once, read the tea leaves and decided to get his book out early, predicting all the ways that the DOJ will be “weaponized,” namely, prosecuting Donald Trump. The only slightly funny thing about all this is that Cruz likely hopes that DOJ does prosecute Trump, successfully. It would get Trump out of the way in a run for president. Given that Cruz is hated by literally everyone in Washington, it’s hard to believe he can be elected president but this book is his first opening shot.

And Trump LOVES IT! He loves it so much that Trump did something he never does. He practically tongue-licked (ewwww) Ted Cruz on Truth Social.

Senator Ted Cruz had the courage and wisdom to write a new and very telling book, “Justice Corrupted, How the Left Weaponized Our Legal System.” It is great, as it spells out in detail things that others, including Republicans, are afraid to discuss – but shouldn’t be. They say politics makes strange bedfellows. Cruz hates Trump more than Trump can possibly know. But Trump thinks this is genius and made specifically for him. Pretty smart, Ted.
