CATFIGHT: Marjorie Taylor Greene Launches Scathing Attack on Lauren Boebert
Apparently, Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is in a right proper mood because she took a few swipes at fellow MAGA Rep. Lauren Boebert (Colorado), accusing her of engaging in frivolous bickering and ridiculing her narrow margin of re-election, Business Insider reports.
Greene is perhaps out-of-sorts because of a video showing Boebert with Turning Point founder Charlie Kirk at the group’s “AmericaFest” gathering.
In the video, Kirk asks Boebert and Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz, who was listed as a speaker at the event what they thought of Greene’s endorsement of Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) as the next House speaker. Neither seemed to care for this and while Gaetz was polite in disagreeing, Boebert seemed to take things to another level.
“Well you know, I’ve been aligned with Marjorie and accused of believing a lot of the things that she believes in,” Boebert said. “I don’t believe in this, just like I don’t believe in Russian space lasers, Jewish space lasers and all of this.”
In case you’ve been living in a cave for the past few years, you probably already know she’s referring to a now-deleted 2018 Facebook post wherein Greene speculated that lasers caused California’s tragic wildfires that year and that Jewish bankers and politicians were somehow responsible.
And no. I don’t know why Greene spouted this ridiculous and demonstrably anti-Semitic idea. That’s just how Marjorie rolls it.

But Greene was offended at Boebert’s diss and responded by tweeting the clip and noting that Boebert “just barely came through by 500 votes,” in the midterms even though she received support from former President Donald Trump, Greene, and McCarthy.
And Greene isn’t wrong here (for a change) the contest was exceptionally tight and led to a legally required recount of the votes. That incidentally showed the congresswoman only won by 546 votes.
In her Twitter thread, Greene vented that Boebert didn’t endorse Trump or McCarthy even though “she gladly takes our $$$” to be reelected.
“And she childlishly threw me under the bus for a cheap sound bit,” Greene retorted. Yes you can safely assume this is in response to Boebert’s “space lasers” comment.
“Americans expect conservative fighters like us to work together to Save America and that is the only mission I’m 100% devoted to, not high school drama and media sound bites,” Greene said in her third tweet.
Politico has reported that the two got into a fiery debate stemming from Greene’s attendance at a white nationalist-organized event last February and adds that Boebert isn’t fond of being associated with Greene.
Maybe that’s one thing in Boebert’s favor. Even if she is a gun nutter.
And now, for your edification, here’s Marjorie’s tweets in all their glory.
I’ve supported and donated to Lauren Boebert. President Trump has supported and donated to Lauren Boebert. Kevin McCarthy has supported and donated to Lauren Boebert. She just barely came through by 500 votes.

She gladly takes our $$$ but when she’s been asked:
Lauren refuses to endorse President Trump, she refuses to support Kevin McCarthy, and she childishly threw me under the bus for a cheap sound bite.
