2024 Election

Mary Trump Tells Republicans to Get Ready Because Her Sociopathic Uncle is About to ‘Burn Everything Down’

Nothing in Donald Trump’s world is going particularly well. He’s lost one lawsuit after another, been the subject of numerous investigations, and didn’t fare well in last November’s midterm elections, and the response to his announcement that he plans to run in 2024 has been…lackluster to say the least.

But, in an appearance on MSNBC, his niece Mary Trump, suggested this picture isn’t as rosy as it seems, Queerty reports. She suggested now is not the time for the GOP to forget about her “crazy uncle” because “he’s ready to burn everything down” if he’s feeling neglected.

“Donald becomes his most dangerous when he fears loss of relevance,” she told MSNBC’s Ali Velshi. “When he fears that he is no longer the center of attention. When he fears that he is no longer the one in control.”

The Washington Post’s David Byler indicates the former president is definitely not winning any popularity contests. Byler checked out Google Trends to see how popular (or unpopular) the ex-president is. Apparently, Trump’s pleas for constant attention aren’t working.

“Despite Trum’s best efforts, Americans paid much less attention to him in 2022 than they did when he was president,” Byler writes. “And when Trump Trump scrambled for attention, he was only one story — not the story — of the moment.”

“In terms of Google’s search index, Trump’s announcement was a tad more interesting than the mad rush for Taylor Swift tickets and much less grabby than a big soccer tournament. And his dinner with Ye and (Nick) Fuentes, so far, seems to be a non-event.”

So Byer concluded:

“Trump isn’t new or exciting anymore — and he can’t bend media coverage toward himself at will. If he wants to win another term, he will have to do it the old fashioned-way: by touting his record as president, building a coalition and relying on TV just a little less.”

While Trump is apparently less popular than stale chewing gum underneath someone’s desk, Mary Trump still warns we should ignore him completely.

During her interview with Velshi, she issued a dire warning that Republicans should heed, saying her “poisonous” uncle is, without a doubt, the “most dangerous person to the Republican Party” right now. He is “perfectly comfortable digging up dirt” on anyone, she added.

“We don’t know just what kind of information he has on other people in his party,” Mary Trump said. “What we do know is he would be willing to use it.”

“Donald will burn everything down if he feels like he is going down.”

She had a stern warning for Republicans who chose to ignore him.

“The Republican Party’s strategy of just deciding to turn in a different direction won’t work,” she said. “One, it won’t work because he won’t let them do it. And two, it shouldn’t work because they are largely responsible for the state of the party and the dangers this party continues to present to this country.”

What can I say? Mary Trump is right. Trump brought out the worst elements of the right-wing — those who seek to destroy a woman’s rights, to spread misogyny, hate, racism, homophobia, and transphobia. That’s where this country is at now.

That is the devastation this man has left in his wake. So people need to pay attention.

Here’s what Mary Trump had to say in the clip below.
