QAnon Activist Who Accused Dems of Pedophilia Was Convicted of Abusing an 8-Year-Old Boy in 1999

Perhaps this is a case of pot meets kettle: QAnon influencer David Todeschini, 70, who loves to accuse prominent Democrats of being pedophiles, is himself a convicted pedophile. And he was confronted about it in a new HBO documentary, LGBTQNation reports.

He’s featured in YouTuber Andrew Callaghan’s directorial debut, This Place Rules, which premiered on HBO on December 30. The film “explores the undercurrents that led to the January 6 Capitol riot.” It features interviews filmed in 2020 with people who are deeply involved in conspiracy theories.

In one clip from the documentary that’s gone viral, Todeschini, who goes by the name “David Trent” on social media, and purportedly attended the rally that led up to the January 6 insurrection at the Capitol, insists but provides no evidence that Oprah Winfrey, Hillary Clinton, and President Joe Biden are all pedophiles. According to this easily debunked QAnon conspiracy theory, there is a secret, international cabal of satanic pedophiles controlling the world that is being controlled by high-level Democrats and Hollywood celebrities.

Callaghan confronts Todeschini about his own conviction in 1999 of one count each of sexual abuse in the first degree and sod*my in the second degree for coercing an eight-year-old New Jersey boy into sexual activity in 1996.

We can be glad that there are media outlets out there such as Right Wing Watch that catch creepy hypocrites like Todeschini in their lies. The outlet is a project of People for The American Way that monitors and exposes extremist right-wing political organizations. Right Wing Watch first reported on Todeschini’s conviction in 2021. He spent five years in state prison and is considered a level three threat, according to the New York sex offender registry. He is described as a “sexually violent predator” and is at “high risk of repeat offense and a threat to public safety.”

After the RWW report was revealed, Todeschini tried to deflect, telling Vice News in 2021 that his conviction was a deep-state plot and that he “did what General [Michael] Flynn did.”

“He plead guilty to a crime he didn’t commit,” Todeschini said of the disgraced former national security adviser.

He repeats this lament in Callaghan’s documentary and then insists he’s “not projecting” his own crimes onto other people.

Yeah right. He can lie all he likes, but I conveniently and easily found him right here.
