Former White House Aide Makes Ominous Comment, Says Ivanka Trump’s Lies ‘Will Catch Up With Her’

A former aide to Melania Trump is now saying that Ivanka Trump’s lies “will catch up with her” now that the former president’s daughter and her husband have been subpoenaed as part of the criminal investigation into Donald Trump’s attempts to stay in power after the 2020 election, Newsweek reports.

Those subpoenas, issued Wednesday by special counsel Jack Smith, who’s leading the investigation, follow two weeks after Smith subpoenaed former Vice President Mike Pence. Ivanka Trump and Kushner both served as senior advisers to Donald Trump during his time in office, and they would have to testify in front of a federal grand jury.

On Twitter, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff—a former friend and aide to Melania Trump who wrote a book in 2020 about the former first lady after allegedly being forced out of the White House and “thrown under the bus” in 2018, posted that she expected Ivanka Trump to lie to investigators.

“Special counsel Jack Smith subpoenas Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner in criminal investigation. PERJURY!” she posted.

“Let’s see Ivanka lie in a grand jury setting. Maybe her lies will catch up with her from her past depositions and I say that with knowledge and proof!”

Winston Wolkoff, who previously worked for Vogue, served as an unpaid adviser to the former first lady at the beginning of the Trump administration. She’s thought to have played a major role in planning Trump’s inauguration in January 2017. The New York Times reported that a company created by Winston Wolkoff was paid nearly $26 million for the inauguration events and that, unsurprisingly, led to controversy, and she left the White House shortly after.

In 2020, prior to the presidential election, Winston Wolkoff’s book Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship with the First Lady, famously detailed her time at the White House and Melania Trump’s often contentious relationship with Ivanka, her stepdaughter, who attempted to keep Melania from being visibly close to her father during the inauguration.

Pence has already said he intends to fight the subpoena, but at this point, it isn’t known if Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner will do the same. Attorneys for the couple have not commented so far. Both have testified to the House committee investigating former president Trump’s role in the January 6 2021 riot at the Capitol. Clips of their testimony in the form of video recordings were played during public hearings in 2022.

Reports also indicate Smith has subpoenaed Mark Meadows, Donald Trump’s former chief of staff.

Unsurprisingly, Donald Trump still denies committing any wrongdoing.

Shortly after Trump announced his 2024 presidential intentions Ivanka Trump wished her dad well but said she has no intentions of working for him politically.

“I love my father very much,” she said in an Instagram statement. “This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family.”

“I do not plan to be involved in politics. While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena. I am grateful to have had the honor serving the American people and I will always be proud of many of our Administration’s accomplishments.”

I’m sure this is a nervous time for her and perhaps for her husband — perhaps her lies will catch up with her. Let’s hope her father’s lies catch up with him. After all, none of this would have happened if it weren’t for him.
