Marjorie Taylor Greene Goes Full Racist and Calls NYC Mayor Adams a ‘Thug’ and Demands an Apology From Him After Her Rally Flops

A war of words has erupted into an inadvertently comical between Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) and Democratic New York City Mayor Eric Adams.

The fun began when the good mayor warned her that she’d better behave (“while you are in town be on your best behavior”), referring to her planned protest of Donald Trump’s arrest,” Queerty reports. Adams was likely not encouraged by Greene’s 60 Minutes interview. Apparently, Greene acted like she’d never visited New York City, making an off-the-wall Batman reference and complaining the city was crime-ridden. She played the blame game with Adams, assailing him for the city’s ills, including, per Queerty, her “failed protesting.”

And now for that Batman reference:

She wound up being booed by counterprotesters who shouted at the “liar” lawmaker, Newsweek reports. And apparently, Greene’s speech was “barely audible” thanks to whistles that were handed out to the crowd by a Trump supporter, according to The Daily Beast.

Greene left the protest scene abruptly. I’m guessing the less-than-friendly welcome from the crowd had something to do with that.

From there, she climbed into a vehicle and engaged in a phone call whine-fest with Steve Bannon for his War Room podcast. In the clip below, posted by federal lawyer Ron Filipkowski, Greene calls Adam a “thug” who “threatened” her with “Antifa to bring their whistles, pots and pans, to ‘drown to drown me out.'” She now wants “an apology.”

Awww. Poor Margie-poo.

Photos and videos posted on Twitter by Buzzfeed News’s David Mack highlighted the “pandemonium.”

And it definitely was a chaotic scene.

And if you don’t love actor Michael Rapaport right now, you should after this. He really tells Greene like she is.

Y’know, Greene getting her comeuppance right about the same time as her failed messiah, Donald Trump, is oddly satisfying. Folks should drown this windbag out every single chance they get. Because that’s what she is. A windbag that promotes hate, racism, transphobia, QAnon insanity, and misinformation.
