ROYAL NO-NO: Trump’s New Book Could Have King Charles Calling His Lawyers

Donald Trump’s most recent book, Letters To Trump is set to be released Tuesday, and it features a sizable list of prominent people who have flatly stated they did not give the former president permission to use their letters in their book.

Now it appears that Trump will also include a private letter sent to him by King Charles III nearly three decades ago, allegedly without getting the Monarch’s permission, The New York Post reports.

The letter, written in 1995 by the then-Prince of Wales, will be included in the book which includes a notable collection of world figures and celebrities, including Alec Baldwin, Princess Diana, Vladimir Putin, and golf legend Arnold Palmer.

According to The Daily Telegraph, in the note to Trump, Charles, now 76, thanks the real estate magnate for offering him an honorary membership to his Mar-a-Lago golf club in Palm Beach, Florida.

The future king wished Trump success in his venture and showed an interest in potentially visiting his Florida residence, the publication reported. And apparently, Charles invited him to visit his Institute of Architecture in London.

Trump’s newest book arrives less than two weeks before the coronation of Charles and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

Shortly after the passing of his mother Queen Elizabeth II in September, Trump praised Charles in a post on Truth Social, saying that he “will be a great and wonderful king.”

The last time Trump appeared alongside Charles and other members of the royal family was in 2019 when he and Melania attended a State Banquet at Buckingham Palace. He met Queen Elizabeth for tea at Windsor Castle the year before and infamously kept her waiting for 12 minutes.

Trump has spoken fondly of his visits to the UK, telling interviewers his two trips in 2018 and 2019 were some of his favorite memories during his time as president.

Letters To Trump retails for a shocking $99, also contains a letter Princess Diana sent to Trump less than two months before her tragic death in a horrifying car accident in Paris.

In the note, dated July 3, 1997, the princess thanked Trump he’d sent to her home on her 36th birthday.

“They truly are quite magnificent, and I am deeply touched that you have thought of me in this special way,” Diana reportedly wrote.

Trump being who he is, boasted to radio host Howard Stern, just months after her death that he “could have” had sex with the late princess — but only if she had passed an HIV test first.

Yup. He was a creep even back then.

And Trump ran afoul of the Windsors in 2012 as well after he publicly scolded Kate Middleton, Prince William’s wife, after photos of her sunbathing topless in France were published. That sparked an uproar and I guess Trump decided to add his two cents.

“Kate Middleton is great—but she shouldn’t be sunbathing in the nude—only herself to blame,” Trump posted on Twitter at the time.

That led royal biographer Christopher Anderson to write in his new book The King: The Life of Charles III, that this drew “torrents of profanity” from Charles and his sons.

The book also contains letters from Hillary Clinton, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, and North Korea’s Kim Jong-un, Liza Minelli, Regis Philbin, and Bill Clinton.
