2024 Election
Kari Lake Says Trump Is So Big and Strong as President He Doesn’t Even Need a VP
Failed Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake continually makes ridiculous statements and she was on-brand again when she told a conservative podcast host that former President Donald Trump might not even need a vice president if he wins reelection.
Lake and Tim Pool, host of The Culture War podcast, discussed her endless, er, I mean, ongoing “fight” against (fictional) election fraud in Arizona and the 2024 presidential election, Mediaite reports.
Rumors are floating that Lake, or possibly Marjorie Taylor Greene may be potential VP picks for Trump, Lake says she doesn’t believe the spot will do much to help Trump if he is reelected.
“I think you talked about VP and I think what Trump needs for a VP, first of all, the fact that the media’s asking about that means that they’re acknowledging he’s gonna be the nominee. I don’t hear anybody asking about other people running and who their VP is gonna be,” Lake told Pool.
“He’s so strong. He doesn’t really need a VP, but he needs somebody, if he does pick someone, I believe who the media hates more than him, who is loyal,” she continued. “Who’s loyal and will continue to be loyal. I mean, we saw with Mike Pence, he wasn’t really loyal.”

And apparently, Lake isn’t “Ridin’ with Biden,” of course, taking a shot at the President and Vice President Kamala Harris.
“Right now with Biden, people are more worried almost about Kamala. She’s so incompetent. And so it’s like, well, you wanna get rid of him,” she said. “But the other choice is really just as bad.”
“They don’t have anybody,” Pool noted.
“They want somebody who they fear more,” Lake guessed.
But perhaps it’s time for Lake to bone up on constitutional law. Because the Vice President is the president of the Senate, and according to the United States Senate, not only serves as the presiding officer, “the vice president has the sole power to break a tie vote in the Senate and formally presides over the receiving and counting of electoral ballots cast in presidential elections. And “incompetent” Harris has broken tie votes 29 times, which is nearly a record.
Perhaps rather than talking nonsense on podcasts, Lake should do a little research. On credible websites.
Just a thought.
