Melania Trump Faces Horrific Backlash for Supporting Trump After Jury Determines Her Husband is a Sexual Abuser

Melania Trump has maintained her typical silence over her husband Donald Trump’s legal problems but she did announce this week that she supports her husband’s 2024 presidential ambitions and believes it would be a “privilege” to serve as First Lady again.

That’s what she had to say in an interview with Fox News Digital, The New York Post reports.

“My husband achieved tremendous success in his first administration, and he can lead us toward greatness and prosperity once again,” Melania, 53, told the outlet.

“He has my support, and we look forward to restoring hope for the future and leading America with love and strength.”

Trump, 76, declared his intentions to run for reelection last November and so far, he’s leading the pack of declared candidates for the GOP nomination.

If he winds up back in the White House (ugh), Melania said she intends to focus on initiatives that help children. Except for the at least 122,000 children (a record number) who were taken into U.S. custody after being separated from their parents during the fiscal year 2021. This is something that the Trump and Biden administrations have done zip, nada, zilch about.

But I digress. And Melania added:

“My focus would continue to be creating a safe and nurturing space for children to learn, grow, and thrive,” (except for the brown ones from sh*thole countries, I’m guessing) the former first lady explained.

“If additional problems arise, I will take the time to study them and understand their root causes.”

Of course, Melania’s interview comes a month or so after her office told the press to behave and quit speculating on her “personal, professional, and political” stances after her husband was indicted on 34 felony charges stemming from an alleged hush-money payment to an adult film actress.

Melania was definitely not in attendance during Donald Trump’s arraignment at a Manhattan court and also wasn’t on hand afterward when he gave a fiery post-arraignment speech that evening at Mar-a-Lago. Trump paid tribute to his “great family” but failed to note Melania.

Perhaps this was a little game of tit-for-tat because she failed to attend either event but the former first lady definitely lives in a world of her own.

“Melania lives in an ivory tower of denial,” a former friend told Page Six regarding her reaction to the allegations stemming from her husband’s alleged fling with Stormy Daniels.

“Of course, she knows about Donald’s affairs, she knows everything. But her silence is her dignity. She will stand by her husband, as she always does. I don’t think Melania is humiliated by his affairs — but she is angry.”

Earlier Tuesday, a New York jury found Donald Trump sexually abused journalist E. Jean Carroll in the dressing room of a Manhattan courtroom 27 years ago and also defamed her years later but because this is a civil lawsuit Trump faces no jail time. Unfortunately.

And of course, the former president faces multiple investigations surrounding his conduct in the January 6, 2021 riots at the Capitol building and the hoarding of classified documents found inside Mar-a-Lago.

But as all this continues, Melania looked unruffled over the weekend to mark the fifth anniversary of her “Be Best” campaign, which focuses on online bullying, children’s issues, and opioid abuse.

After she left the White House, Melania widened the program to include “Fostering The Future,” a program that provides computer science scholarships to young people who are growing older and winding up outside the foster care system.

“Since leaving Washington, DC, my commitment tot he foster community has grown strong,” the former first lady told Fox.

“At the present time, there are more than 400,000 children in the foster care system, and there is less than a 3 percent chance of former foster children completing their college education,” she said. “In fact, many end up on the street, homeless. My objective is to reduce the gap and increase access to higher education for those who leave the foster care system.”

“I have faith that an education-based foundation will provide these individuals with the skills needed to secure employment and achieve financial stability.”

Hopefully, Melania is sincere about this. She has a reputation for showing a fancy passing for some things, including some of her NFTs that went nowhere. As times continue to grow harsher in the U.S., due in part to some of her husband’s policies, there are going to be more and more young adults finding themselves in increasingly untenable situations.

Twitter went after Melania for supporting Trump after everything he’s done:
