Ivanka Trump (or is it Ivanka Kushner now) and her hubby Jared Kushner celebrated their daughter, Arabella’s bat mitzvah and she posted a batch of photos on her Instagram account. A photo of dear old Dad, however, was nowhere to be found. Melania was also left out of the loop, Insider reports.

Fashioning a carousel-format Instagram post with 10 photos, Ivanka’s father Donald Trump was missing in action.

“With an abundance of love and immense pride, Jared and I celebrated our daughter Arabella’s Bat Mitzvah this past weekend,” she wrote in the caption. “We reflect on the weekend with full hearts and an abundance of joy and gratitude.”

But Ivanka’s Instagram stories are different, however, and showed that her father definitely was at the celebration and was the one who organized it. However, you have to scroll past 20 photos on Ivanka’s Instagram stories before you find a photo of the former president — smiling widely and posing with little Arabella.

“Thank you dad and Melania for arranging such a sweet celebration for Arabella!!” Ivanka posted on her second to last Instagram story. In the photo we see Arabella sitting at a table next to Donald and Melania Trump. Ivanka and Jared are standing behind them.

It may be a coincidence that Ivanka created the Instagram posts after Page Six reported Friday that, according to two sources close to her, Ivanka was planning to keep distancing herself from her father while he continues to deal with federal charges of mishandling top-secret documents.

Ivanka began distancing herself from her father just before he announced his 2024 intentions, saying she planned to stay out of politics and devote her time to her family. And she’s maintained that distance, especially now that her father has been indicted for a second time. She may still face her own legal problems as New York Attorney General Letitia continues her probe into the Trump Organization, which was hit with a $1.6 billion fine for its fraudulent business dealings last December.

It’s really too bad that Ivanka didn’t have the sense to distance herself from her father BEFORE the 2016 election. As it stands right now, she may get what she paid for, thanks to her connections with dear old Dad.
