New Photos of Trump Show He May Not Be Following the Strict Legal Warnings Ordered by Judge in Documents Case

Remember Walt Nauta, the personal aide to Donald Trump — who’s in hot water for allegedly helping the former president conceal boxes and lying to investigators? The dude who was served with a court order barring him from discussing the landmark case with Trump, as MSN.com reports?

Welp, the two are still in each other’s orbit, according to photos obtained by RadarOnline. Nauta, who was indicted over the alleged mishandling of classified material along with Trump, was spotted in South Philadelphia Friday where he and Trump grabbed a cheesesteak sandwich at the popular eatery Pat’s King of Steaks.

Trump was in town to speechify for the Moms for Liberty Summit, one of those extremist right-wing groups that he and other Republicans appreciate so well. There were other Republican hopefuls there as well, including Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy.

After his appearance, Trump traveled to the eatery, where he ordered the cheesesteak “whiz wit,” which is loaded with Cheez Whiz and fried onions. But onlookers were not surprised by his menu choice. They were, however, shocked to see Nauta, a former Navy veteran, with Trump. Nauta worked in the Trump administration and is still a staffer to the former president.

He faces six charges, including conspiracy and making false statements. Nauta, who is from Guam, is staring down 20 years in prison if he’s convicted of the most serious charge against him. Trump himself has been charged with 37 counts that include willful retention of national defense information and obstruction of justice. The photo proof of Trump and Nauta hanging around together is certainly going to get the attention of lots of folks, including U.S. Magistrate Judge Jonathan Goodman, who ordered Trump not to discuss the case with Nauta last month.

Trump and Nauta can still talk to each other, as long as it’s about something other than the case (I’m certain Trump will adhere strictly to this, aren’t you?). But the fact that Nauta is spending time in Trump’s orbit is a pretty big sign that he’s not likely to flip against his boss. Some observers had predicted he might do this if prosecutors offered him a lesser sentence if he did flip on Trump.

This is worrisome. Multiple sources who spoke to RadarOnline.com said Nauta’s testimony to federal officials in the lead-up to the indictment— described by one insider as flip-flopping on the facts” — is going to become a crucial part of the Department of Justice’s prosecution.

When Nauta was initially questioned by FBI agents in the spring of 2022, one source said Nauta denied any knowledge about classified materials being kept at Mar-a-Lago. But that changed when he was interrogated for a second time when Nauta admitted he had moved boxes — under Trump’s direction, the source said.

What’s really noteworthy is that the order from Trump allegedly came down after prosecutors sent him a subpoena to the former president requesting the return of all documents marked classified in May 2022.

You’re going to tell me these two NEVER talk about the case? Yeah right.

Hopefully, Nauta will cooperate because his testimony is going to be the smoking gun for prosecutors, and this is backed up by secret surveillance video from Mar-a-Lago that shows him moving boxes of classified documents, something that he said he was ordered to do by Trump.

“The video is crucial to the prosecution case because it seemingly corroborates Nauta’s account of moving boxes after the subpoena was issued,” one source said.

“Nauta’s testimony to the feds, together with the surveillance video, are the most specific evidence that nailed Trump. In the end, it was CCTV [that] did Trump in.”

Before the 49-page indictment was unsealed, Trump declared the DOJ was “trying to destroy” Nauta’s life, “like the lives of so many others, hoping that he will say bad things about Trump.”

“He is strong, brave and a great patriot,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

RadarOnline has also reported that Trump doesn’t consider Nauta a “threat to turn” against him. Plus, legal fees incurred by Nauta are being paid for — indirectly — by Trump through one of his political action committees.

This makes it seem unlikely that Nauta will testify against Trump, but of course, no one really knows if that will happen or not. He may start to really realize what he’s up against. Trump needs to atone for what he’s done and it’s sad that he’s dragging this man down with him.

Because Trump clearly isn’t worth it.
