Trump Will Be Weighed When Arrested in Georgia, and Bookmakers Are Saying He’ll Weigh MUCH MORE Than 239 Pounds

After former President Donald Trump criticized Fox News for frequently using unflattering photos of him, online bookmakers have taken to placing bets on everything from the color of his ties to how much he’ll weigh when he surrenders himself to be arraigned at a Georgia courtroom.

On Friday, one bookmaker, BetOnline, based in Antigua offered an over/under weight of 273.5 pounds for the ex-president’s weight upon his surrendering to authorities in Fulton County, according to gambling news Instagram account TheJuice.

According to MailOnline, over/unders are frequently used to bet on the point totals of a sporting event, giving the gambler the chance to select whether they believe the outcome will be higher or lower than the amount selected by oddsmakers.

Dave Mason, who works for BetOnline, said 77 percent of gamblers have taken the over bet on Trump’s weight so far. That’s prompted the sportsbook to increase his total weight by eight pounds.

This will undoubtedly perturb Trump, especially since he’s been griping about Fox News using photos of him that he believes are unflattering — ones that make him look “big” and “orange” (because he is big and orange), with his “chin pulled way back.”

“Why doesn’t Fox and Friends show all of the Polls where I am beating Biden, by a lot,” Trump kvetched on Truth Social. “Also, they purposely show the absolutely worst pictures of me, especially the big ‘Orange’ one with my chin pulled way back.”

Fox News will be hosting the first GOP debate Wednesday, which Trump is purportedly planning to skip.

Okay, so for any of you considering placing a bet on Trump’s weight, consider this: the current over/under on BetOnline is much higher than any weight that has been recently reported for the ex-president. Just thought I’d give y’all a head’s up.

As he was being booked in Manhattan on New York state charges earlier this year, Trump allegedly told officials that he stood six-foot-two and weighed 240 pounds. However, these measurements were self-reported and not verified.

In 2020, White House physician Sean P. Conley recorded Trump as being six-foot-three and weighing 244 pounds during his annual physical.

This was one more pound than his previous physical which was released in February 2019 and showed he weighed 243 pounds. In 2018, he weighed 239 pounds.

But folks aren’t just betting on Trump’s weight. Some are betting on whether Trump will be smiling in his Georgia mugshot. As it stands, the bookmaker is heavily favoring no mugshot smile and offering odds of 2-11 that Trump will appear dour.

As for the color of his tie, red is the favorite at 4-9 odds, or, per MailOnline an implied probability of 69 percent. “No tie” comes in second at 17-4 odds, while “green” offers the longest odds at 25-1. I guess Blue isn’t in the running.

Curacao-based online sportsbook Bovada is offering odds on whether Trump will wear a MAGA hat in his Georgia mugshot — the outcome is listed Friday at 25-1 odds.

Online betting laws vary state by state, so keep this in mind if you decide to place a bet. Again, just letting y’all know so you don’t get in trouble.

As for me, I’m just glad his court schedule is quite busy. That’s enough for me at the time being.
