You’d think Donald Trump would learn that threatening people earns him nothing but trouble, but no. He hasn’t learned. He threatened President Joe Biden by suggesting he and other Republicans are plotting to target the president “when it’s our turn” in power.

On his Truth Social platform, Trump, who is for some reason still the GOP frontrunner in the 2024 presidential primary despite all his legal trouble, ominously warned Biden to be “careful what you wish for” while suggesting all the criminal lawsuits and investigations he faces are all politically motivated, Newsweek reports.

Trump faces trials in four federal and state cases, but that’s not all. He also faces numerous other upcoming civil defamation and fraud lawsuits against his company and himself. He has continued to deny all wrongdoing in connection to each of the investigations and continues to claim the Biden administration has “weaponized” the FBI and Department of Justice in an attempt to hinder his 2024 presidential campaign.

“The Crooked Joe Biden Campaign has thrown so many Indictments and lawsuits against me that Republicans are already thinking about what we are going to do to Biden and the Communists (that sounds like a rock band) when it’s our turn,” Trump fumed on Sunday.

Then he took on a sinister tone.

“They have started a whole new Banana Republic way of thinking about political campaigns. So cheap and dirty, but that’s where America is right now. Be careful what you wish for!”

Trump’s post comes just as the GOP continues to threaten to launch impeachment hearings against Biden over allegations that as vice president he used his influence to intervene and benefit from business deals conducted in Ukraine and China by his son Hunter Biden. These allegations have been denied by attorneys for the White House and Hunter Biden.

Not content to leave things at that, Trump hopped on Truth Social again, to accuse Biden’s team of “election interference” in connection to the historic legal problems he’s facing.

Trump just never knows when to quit.

“The Fake Indictments and lawsuits against me, 8 of them, all come out of the Biden Campaign for purposes of Election Interference,” he thundered. “This is their new way of Rigging the Election, and it won’t hold up. The Fascists & Marxists are destroying our once great country but, WE WILL WIN & MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”

Trump then had a bunch of other posts, some plain crazy lies, like him saying “The sit-down with Tucker Carlson has made history as the most-watched interview ever recorded.” Reed Cooper, DCENQUIRER Thank you!”

Then he posted about the 14th Amendment, which could keep him off the ballot. Trump said, “Almost all legal scholars have voiced opinions that the 14th Amendment has no legal basis or standing relative to the upcoming 2024 Presidential Election. Like Election Interference, it is just another “trick” being used by the Radical Left Communists, Marxists, and Fascists, to again steal an Election that their candidate, the WORST, MOST INCOMPETENT, & MOST CORRUPT President in U.S. history, is incapable of winning in a Free and Fair Election. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Then a little brag about his “guests” at Bedminster today. What do you want to bet this was an outdoor event and none of these bikers were even allowed inside? Trump said, “A very large group of “Bikers for Trump” just left Bedminster. What a great time we all had. The motorcycles were AMAZING, the love and enthusiasm absolutely “beyond.” Thank you all. We must WIN in 2024. MAGA!”

Unfortunately, Trump’s legal troubles aren’t affecting his poll numbers. According to FiveThirtyEight’s live national poll average tracker, Trump is well ahead, with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis a very, very distant second at only 14.5 percent.

The Economist conducted a recent YouGov poll and found that Trump would narrowly beat Biden in the 2024 presidential election.

The survey of 1500 people was conducted between August 26-29, and it found that 44 percent of potential voters would pick Trump as their preferred choice of president. Only 43 percent chose Biden. The poll’s margin of error stands at three percent.

Are the Democrats going to finally wake up and realize they need to choose a more dynamic candidate? Biden might win, but really, the Party needs to hedge its bets. There is talk of California Governor Gavin Newsom running. Now let’s choose a few more candidates to consider.
