The Most Most Humiliating Thing Ever Is Probably About to Happen to Donald Trump

One top attorney who is New York’s former assistant attorney general believes Donald Trump’s properties will be liquidated and sold off during an auction now that a judge has found the former president committed fraud.

Tristan Snell was speaking after a Manhattan court found the ex-president had highly inflated the value of some of his properties and mandated that some Trump companies involved be stripped of their corporate licenses, as part of Trump’s ongoing civil fraud trial, Newsweek reports.

“The worst outcome that could have come from this case has already been handed down, and that is for the corporate licenses to be canceled,” Snell said during an MSNBC interview. “The properties are likely going to be liquidated. The properties are probably going to be sold at auction. That’s probably what is going to happen. We don’t know that for sure, but that is probably where this is headed. So [Trump] is already really, really in trouble.”

And Snell reminded people it was important to remember Trump has already lost, no matter how many times he claims innocence.

Last week Judge Arthur Engoron ruled that Trump, his adult sons, The Trump Organization, and other businesses connected to the former president had overvalued a number of his properties—including Mar-a-Lago, where he resides in Palm Beach, and his triplex in Manhattan inside Trump Tower—for financial gain.

Trump and his sons acted incredulous at Engoron’s summary judgment last week. That judgment ordered that some of their business licenses in New York be rescinded and that the companies owning the properties named in the judgment must be handed over to independent receivers.

Unsurprisingly, Trump’s lawyers have already said they plan to appeal the decision and disagreed with the figures used to determine that the properties had been overvalued. That all happened on the first day of the trial and Trump himself appeared in court on Monday to “fight for my name and reputation.”

Hmmm…seems to me that if he was worried about all that, perhaps he should have played by the rules. He seems to have trouble with that.

As it stands the ongoing trial will decide the outstanding allegations against Trump and his named associates.

Judge Engoron is presiding over the trial in the sprawling $250 million civil lawsuit brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James against Trump, his adult sons Eric, and Don Jr., and The Trump Organization. Trump is accused of boosting his net worth by billions of dollars to obtain more favorable loan terms from banks.

Trump claims he has done nothing wrong. Because Trump is stuck on repeat. As if somehow, if he says it enough times, it makes it all true.

Which, of course, it doesn’t.

Now, Engoron will hear arguments on the charges that include whether Trump and the other defendants falsified business records after fraudulently overvaluing his worth, issued bogus financial statements, and committed insurance fraud, per Newsweek.

Trump’s eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump, was listed as a witness in James’ prosecution case in the court filings prior to the trial. She had been previously named as a co-defendant but a court order filed on June 27 this year dismissed her as a co-defendant. This was because the claims against her were “accrued prior to…February 2016” and she hadn’t been party “to a 2021 tolling agreement between the New York attorney general and the Trump Organization extending the period of statutory limitations on the claims,” Newsweek reports.

The fact that Ivanka is now a witness in the case against her father “usually indicates some form cooperation,” one attorney told Newsweek earlier, and of course, this means she could potentially provide damaging evidence against her family during the trial.

And Ivanka will do this to save her own skin. Her father has thrown her under the bus before and now it looks like Ivanka may return the favor.
