Alina Habba Humiliates Herself by Objecting to Her OWN Document and Social Media is Having a Field Day
Today in “Well this is awkward,” we have Donald Trump’s attorneys objecting to the Attorney General’s Office asking to place several documents into evidence. Except oops, one of those documents was their own, RawStory reports.
When Ivanka Trump took the stand, prosecutors had lots of questions about conversations she had and emails she exchanged with Trump Organization executives.
The Messenger’s Adam Klasfeld detailed on X, during many of the questions, Ivanka said she couldn’t remember the conversations, “so the AG’s Office entered documents into evidence to refresh her memory.”
At one point, prosecutors showed Ivanka an email she’d sent to Allen Weisselberg and other Trump Organization executives. The email was dated December 15, 2011.
“It doesn’t get better than this. lets (sic) discuss asap (sic),” she wrote.

At this point Habba objected to the email being entered, asserting that it was never sent. But the prosecutors refuted this, noting that the email was sent, and showed the date.
One prosecutor, Kevin Wallace pointed out that the document Habba objected to was one of their own documents.
Oops. Someone didn’t do enough studying, it appears.
Justice Arthur Engoron said he would allow prosecutors to ask additional questions about the email.
I wonder if Ivanka is sweating this one out? She is no longer a defendant in this trial, but she’s obviously done some questionable things.
And it’s pretty embarrassing that Trump’s own lawyers can’t remember the documents they submitted into evidence.
This case gets more entertaining all the time.

The prosecutors contradicted, showing the date.
Then prosecutor Kevin Wallace stepped in to say the document Habba objected to was one of their own.

Wow, Ol' Habba-dabba-doo ain't exactly Clarence Darrow, is she? You'd think a billionaire could afford a far better shyster than her (or one who doesn't mind being stiffed for his fees)— Richard Gillam (@rich78801) November 8, 2023
Alina Habba said the prosecutor was "just not that bright". Then she objects to a document that was submitted by their side. Guess she just isn't that bright. https://t.co/7V7S4HIobp

Just to be clear this actually happened.
Not only did she try to object to her own evidence.
The prosecutor had to explain it to her in words a child could understand she was the one who submitted it to the court.https://t.co/2BL9uqGzDu. https://t.co/heJu0x785w
