Barron Trump Spotted Looking Miserable in Christmas Photo With His Father, With Melania No Where to Be Found

I know that we normally don’t discuss minor children, and I want to continue that rule. However, it is very strange how Barron Trump is never seen, never in the press and never a part of his father’s life. Heck, we have never even heard Barron’s voice. That is quite odd. And of course we won’t say anything bad about him. It appears Melania has done a great job sheltering him from the press, and giving him as much privacy as is possible in his crazy life.

Obviously Barron is very close to his mother Melania, so wherever she is, he is. And over the last few days we have been hearing that Melania isn’t at Mar-a-Lago, and her disappearance is quite strange.

Laurence Leamer, who wrote 2019’s Mar-a-Lago: Inside the Gates of Power at Donald Trump’s Presidential Palace, told The Daily Telegraph on Monday that despite being frequently seen at the Palm Beach, Florida, club before her husband’s presidency, Melania is now rarely seen by members of Mar-a-Lago.

“She rarely exits Mar-a-Lago. It’s a strange, isolated life they have in that place,” Leamer told the newspaper. “Nobody knows where she is. It’s like a mystery. It’s certainly talked about.”

Melania has been removed from public life since her husband left the White House in January 2021. Although a prominent fixture of Donald’s 2016 presidential campaign, the former first lady has not been spotted on the 2024 campaign trail with her husband. She also has been absent from his various court appearances, including his civil fraud trial in New York state and the arraignments related to his four criminal indictments.

Melania made a rare public appearance earlier this month at a naturalization ceremony at the National Archives, delivering remarks about her challenges in becoming a U.S. citizen on December 15th. She also attended former first lady Rosalynn Carter’s memorial service a couple of weeks before.

But over the weekend, some observers noticed that she was not sitting next to her husband at Mar-a-Lago’s Christmas dinner, raising speculation again about her whereabouts and her relationship with the former president. She also did not appear in any of the holiday-related videos that her husband shared on Truth Social, opting to post her own Merry Christmas message online instead.

And as you’ll see, as Donald ate Christmas dinner, Melania is no where to found.

Those close to Melania have said that since she left the White House the former first lady has devoted most of her time to her 17-year-old son, Barron, whom she shares with Donald. Melania has publicly expressed her support for her husband’s third presidential campaign, and he has mentioned her on several occasions in interviews and at rallies.

Leamer said that Melania likely “wants to protect” Barron from the possible public scrutiny he could face if his father is reelected because the high school senior would be “all over the news” in a second Trump presidency since he would officially be an adult. Barron turns 18 in March, which is just a few months away, and should be heading off to college this fall.

All of this made it quite strange when Barron showed up in a family photo from Christmas. He was standing next to his father, but didn’t look very happy about it, according to the scowl on his face. And Melania is not in the photo, but her father Viktor Knaus is. Others in the photo are Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, their children, then Tiffany Trump and her husband. Don Jr. is there, along with Kimberly Guilfoyle and one of Don Jr.’s sons. Strange. No Eric or Lara Trump, and only one of Don Jr.’s children. And of course, no Melania.

Most of the people on social media made mention of Barron’s height, which is still around 6’7″. And so far, most of the comments are from people on the right, who seem to think Barron’s height means he will be king someday. These MAGA types are weird. So who knows what is going on. At almost 18 years old, Barron is old enough to say whether he wants to be in a photo, so obviously he wasn’t forced to be there, but he doesn’t appear to be too happy. I swear, this family. Someday there will be books and we will learn the real story about what went on behind those gilded walls, and it surely won’t be good.

It’s a small, low-resolution photo, but the kid looks miserable.
