Election 2020

Looks Like Trump Just Committed a Textbook Case of Witness Tampering and It’s SO BAD FOR TRUMP

Everything that Donald Trump has been involved in continues to look suspicious, so why should this latest revelation be any different? It involves a long-term employee at Mar-a-Lago whom he allegedly contacted numerous times after the employee quit their job three months after the FBI seizure of classified documents from the famed resort.

Of course, Trump rarely does anything without some nefarious reason, so he was likely worried about what this person might tell investigators. And true to form, he allegedly kept calling because he wanted to know why the person left after working at the famed golf club for more than 20 years. CNN reports the employee told Trump they left to pursue another business opportunity. Trump allegedly told the former employee he thought he was a “good man.”

But here’s where the plot thickens. This employee allegedly witnessed several moments in special counsel Jack Smith’s indictment of Trump regarding his mishandling of classified documents when he left the White House. Apparently, the former staffer had moved several boxes and was present for conversations mentioned in the federal criminal indictment, according to The Messenger. The former staffer was apparently in contact with Walt Nauta, Trump’s bodyman, and Carlos De Oliveira, who was the property manager for Mar-a-Lago. Both are co-defendants alongside Trump in the classified documents case.

So it’s safe to say Trump is sweating bullets over this.

And of course, after De Oliveira and Nauta were charged alongside the ex-president, this made things wide open for other employees to take part in the case. The former employee was apparently buddies with De Oliveira, who gave Trump the former staffer’s phone number.

When he called the ex-staffer, Trump allegedly offered legal representation and said he would pay for it. He also offered complimentary tickets to a golf tournament and reminders that he could get his job back if he wanted it, sources told CNN.

Talk about desperation. Trump’s attorneys at the time were even involved, reportedly leaving voicemails for the former employee saying they knew he’d been summoned by a grand jury to testify in the case and asked him to call back. According to CNN, he never did.

Jack Smith’s office has frequently shown interest in the phone calls from Trump to this employee and when interviewed by investigators he allegedly provided details that showed he and the former president stayed in contact after he left Mar-a-Lago.

So I hope this former staffer gives the special counsel’s office all the necessary information to help convict Trump. The documents case keeps developing more and more legs and I hope Trump is tripped up.
