‘Doesn’t Deserve This Bullying’: Fox News Hosts Are Lashing Out at Trump After He Slammed Kayleigh McEnany

Former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany probably didn’t realize that when she gave Donald Trump advice she’d accidentally awaken the monster but that’s what happened when she suggested that after he won the New Hampshire primary, he should focus his attention on winning swing state voters.

“I would suggest that adopting a general election tone is what you do at this point, and here’s why I say this. This was actually a fairly good night for Joe Biden,” McEnany argued noting that Biden did better than was expected.

That turned her former boss all snorty and farty. I don’t know why, except she did mention Biden doing well, and early on she supported Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, so maybe that soured Trump’s milk.

“I don’t need any advice from RINO Kayleigh McEnany on Fox. Just had a GIANT VICTORY over a badly failing candidate, ‘Birdbrain,’ and she’s telling me what I can do better. Save your advice for Nikki!” Trump fumed on his Truth Social platform earlier in the week.

Then Eric Trump decided to join dear old Dad and attacked her, Mediaite reports.

The younger Trump replied to a MAGA world post that asked, “Who thinks Alina Habba was more loyal to Trump than Kayleigh McEnany ever was?” Eric decided to play along with the taunt, replying, “Not even close! @AlinaHabba.”

This led Fox News contributor Marc Thiessen to respond:

“My God, leave @kayleighmcenany alone. She went out day in day out and skillfully defended him from the podium. Doesn’t deserve this bullying.”

That message was shared by Fox News’s Brit Hume:

The fact is, even though McEnany isn’t the brightest bulb in the socket, she actually gave Trump good advice. After all, Biden did well in several swing states during the last election. I think Trump is just p*ssed off because she mentioned Biden’s name favorably. He can’t stand hearing anything positive about Biden, it just bugs him to no end.

For once, McEnany got something right. And she didn’t even have to lie about it this time.
