Speculation Over Trump’s Health After ‘Dragging’ Leg in Iowa, ‘He’s Not Walking Very Well!’
Well, here we are again. Back when Donald Trump was president (shudder), especially at the end of his term, he would often drag his leg. Obviously dragging one’s leg isn’t normal, and usually signifies some kind of medical issue. It can obviously be from an orthopedic injury, or it can be neurological, and be the side effect of a stroke. We have never really received any answers as to why Trump occasionally drags his leg, but most people seem to think it’s some kind of neurological reason.
And again, this isn’t new. In January 2020 at the College Football National Championship Game in New Orleans, Trump walked on to the field (of course he did) and people noticed his leg swinging in an odd way:
Just me or is Trump swinging his right leg around his body in an awkward-looking way?

Then in July 2020 during the pandemic, Trump was spotted walking in the same way as he visited a facility that was making vaccines:

Author and filmmaker Don Winslow pointed out in August 2020 that he had heard Trump suffered from three “mini-strokes”. Of course we have no idea if it’s true, but we think it’s important to mention:
One of the benefits of making videos that garner 5 million+ views is that you hear from a lot of people, including whistleblowers inside Trump administration.
I've received three communications saying that during his term Trump has suffered a "series" of "mini-strokes."

Trump always denied the “mini-stroke” claim, and the following month tweeted, “It never ends! Now they are trying to say that your favorite President, me, went to Walter Reed Medical Center, having suffered a series of mini-strokes. Never happened to THIS candidate – FAKE NEWS. Perhaps they are referring to another candidate from another Party!”

There are so many examples I can’t possibly list them all..here is one last one:
Trump can’t walk properly & drags his legs at today’s March for Life. Watch his feet drag on the floor. Signs of his balance issue & brain deterioration. It will keep worsening. Later there was the usual speech interruption where his brain seems to short-circuit. Bad day for him pic.twitter.com/NlCa46cBfO

We haven’t seen any examples recently, because Trump isn’t president any longer (thank God) and we don’t have constant video of him walking. But this weekend while Trump was in Iowa there was a video where people once again noticed the leg swinging:

People on X/Twitter all mentioned what they think is going on:
Nope it’s actually his left leg. If you look at the video of him the night before when he walked in looking like Vincent the Chin Giganti you could see it was his left leg that he was limping on.
I wonder if he has a Clot in his left leg from being overweight and flying on the…— Dr. B (@Ablationist) January 15, 2024

He's favoring that leg because his right inner thigh is chafed from diaper rash.

The most common cause of foot drop is peroneal nerve injury. This nerve is also called the fibular nerve. It supplies movement and sensation to the lower leg, foot, and toes. Conditions that affect the nerves and muscles in the body can lead to foot drop. (Penn Medicine)

I think it's the left leg that he's favoring and now that I look at it looks like gout. It primarily affects the joint of the big toe. He's favoring his left foot and looks just like me when I get a mild flare-up. It's very painful and treated with NSAIDs, steroids or opiates.
