Amidst the forest of legal troubles, incendiary statements, and corruption of the Trump family, a lot seems to be forgotten. In fact, it’s easy to put things that should’ve been deal-breakers to begin with out of our heads every time something new and horrible is exposed.

But it’s important to remember that these people are behaving exactly as they always have.

Maybe you don’t remember that Trump had to settle a racial discrimination housing lawsuit brought by the DoJ. Perhaps you’ve forgotten the casinos he bankrupted or the old lady whose home he had demolished in Atlantic City for a limousine parking lot.

Maybe you’ve even forgotten how Trump admitted he sexually assaults women when he said “I just start kissing — I don’t even wait.”

But a father like that can’t help but rub off on his kids, as we’ve seen lately with Don Jr. and Eric being wrapped up in the fraud lawsuit in New York. Ivanka was Trump’s own Hunter Biden scandal, scoring major, lucrative marketing deals in China while her father played diplomacy with Xi Jinping.

Even Tiffany Trump has taken fancy vacations while racking up serious Secret Service costs.

But it turns out that there’s some inner turmoil, as evidenced by some audio outtakes from an interview Trump did with Howard Stern a while back. The interview, which was obtained by Newsweek, took place in 2005, while Melania was pregnant with their youngest child, Barron. The discussion led to inheritances

STERN: Do your older children get nervous every time you have another child?

TRUMP: I have a friend who is also like a very rich guy. And he said how his children hate the new children coming along and everything else; I said, ‘Yeah, because every time you have a child, it’s 20 percent less to the people [inaudible].’

Later on in the conversation, Stern, known for being as controversial as possible, turned the topic back to how Trump’s other kids felt about the new one. Barron is the only child Trump has with Melania; Don Jr., Eric, and Ivanka are all the children of Trump and the recently deceased Ivana, and Tiffany’s mother is Marla Maples.

STERN: [Are Don Jr. and Ivanka trying to] bump off a child?

TRUMP: Tiffany?

STERN: Is there any truth to that? Tiffany? Tell me the truth, though.

TRUMP: Yes.

In fact, it seems as though the conflict between the older siblings and Tiffany has been going on for some time. Even their dad alluded to it in a Fox and Friends interview back in 2016, when he was bubbling about the older ones and only semi-enthusiastic about Tiffany:

“I’m very proud of my children. I mean, I’m just looking at them right now as an example… but I’m very proud ’cause Don and Eric and Ivanka and, you know, to a lesser extent ’cause she just got out of school, out of college, but, uh, Tiffany, who’s also been so terrific. I mean, they work so hard.”

Given the cutthroat ethic of the Trump family, none of this is hard to believe. But let’s not forget it, either.
