Does Kellyanne Conway understand irony? She took a potshot at former first lady Michelle Obama, asking “What has she done?” and it sure looks like she doesn’t. Conway was appearing on Fox Business’s Mornings with Maria, where she spoke about the hypothetical situation that involves President Joe Biden dropping out of the 2024 presidential race, leaving Michelle Obama to run instead, Newsweek reports.

“What has she won? What has she done? I can respect her as a first lady or a great mother or great daughter for having her mother in that White House with them but what has she done in the seven years since they’ve left the White House?” Conway asked.

I guess she’s forgotten that Michelle, along with her husband, former President Barack Obama has founded the Obama Foundation, which is a non-partisan nonprofit group.

“Day in and day out, we’re supporting and connecting values-based changemakers around the globe, by working to create a world where girls have equal opportunities to pursue their dreams through access to education, and by fostering safe and supportive communities where young men of color have clear pathways to opportunity,” the group lists as its mission.

Maybe she also forgets that Obama has won two Grammy awards, the most recent of which won in 2024, was for the audio version of her best-selling book The Light We Carry, the other which was also a bestselling book Becoming, led her to win a Grammy in the Spoken Word category in 2020.

Oh, that’s right, Kellyanne also wrote a book. Too bad that it was a flop that didn’t win anything.

Kellyanne Conway’s book was a total flop, selling just 25,000 copies in its debut week.

For comparison Mary Trump’s book sold 1,350,000 copies in the first week.

During the interview, Claudia Conway’s mother, a former adviser inside the Trump White House, discussed the situation of who could replace Biden as the Democrs’ 2024 nominee, including Michelle Obama, Vice President Kamala Harris, California Governor Gavin Newsom, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, or Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear. Quite frankly, Obama and maybe, maybe Harris are the only two who have a snowball’s chance in Hades at the presidency.

Biden, 81, has been targeted over the past several weeks by concerns surrounding his memory and age. Harris has recently told the Wall Street Journal she is “ready to serve” if she’s called to replace Biden in the presidential contest. I’m sure by now you’ve heard the Department of Justice Special Counsel report was released that detailed the investigation into Biden’s handling of classified documents that were discovered in his Delaware home. According to the report, no charges will be filed, but it did cite Biden’s memory as an issue.

“Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” the report said.

During a presser earlier this week, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that Biden will not be taking a cognitive test during his upcoming physical.

Biden’s age is of concern to voters as recent polls have reflected this as the upcoming election looms. An ABC News/Ipsos poll found that 59 percent of respondents said both Trump, 77, and Biden are too old to serve a second term in the White House. Trump, of course, should never be allowed back in the White House for any reason, ever again. Conway, however, hung in there with her dumb criticisms of Michelle Obama, claiming, “We can’t just say ‘Oh, this is somebody who has the Obama name, Barack Obama will really be running the country, ‘let’s go,’ I think that’s a non-starter.”

This is absurd. I don’t know if Conway has ever won any awards, but I remember how dynamic Michelle Obama was during her time as first lady. She was instrumental in making school lunches healthier for children from low-income households. She taught all of us about how important exercise is for our health. Joined by current First Lady Jill Biden she improvised Joining Forces, which offers support for military veterans, their families, and other service members, according to The National Women’s Hall of Fame.

Guess who’s not in the Hall of Fame? Yup, Kellyanne Conway. I believe her daughter Claudia may wind up there much quicker. If Kellyanne ever arrives there.
