Candace Owens Has Finally Gone Too Far, Claims French First Lady Is a Man — And Her ‘Proof’ Is Both Laughable and Disgusting

We’ve all heard the story about the nutters who believe Michelle Obama is a man, and I’m sure that story is still floating around. But now the former first lady has company because these right-wing nutjobs, including DailyWire host, Candace Owens, have shifted their attention to Brigitte Macron, the wife of French President Emmanuel Macron, claiming she’s a he.

Owens made a huge deal out of this on her show Monday. She’s notorious for her bombastic, attention-grabbing, asinine claims. But this one has to be the asininest (is this even a word?) of the asinine. As Mediaite notes, Owens has even gone as far as to say she would stake her reputation on this. She even labeled this as “The BIGGEST Political Scandal in Human History.”

And I’m not kidding when I say this is bad news. Owens has almost three million followers on YouTube and her top-rated “news” podcast has landed at #6 on the most recent Spotify chart.

“This episode is blowing up so I just want to say—after looking into this, I would stake my entire professional reputation on the fact that Brigitte Macron is in fact a man. Any journalist or publication that is trying to dismiss this plausibility is immediately identifiable as establishment,” Owens posted on X Tuesday, promoting her show, adding: (The video is below, at the bottom of the post)

I have never seen anything like this in my life. The implications here are terrifying.

I do not intend to let up on this story and I am calling on other journalists to look into this explosive story and report accordingly.”

President Macron has gone on the defense against the stupidly transphobic rumors surrounding his wife, saying, “The worst thing is the false information and fabricated scenarios.”

“People eventually believe them and disturb you, even in your intimacy,” he added during an International Women’s Day event in Paris Friday.

The news has also reached Brigitte Macron’s biological daughter, whom The New York Post described as a “lookalike” to show just how absurd this conspiracy theory is. Brigitte has three kids with her first husband.

In an interview last month with Paris Match, Tiphaine Auzaine noted “I have concerns about the level of society when I hear what is circulating on social networks about my mother being a man.”

“The confidence of what is affirmed and the credit given to what is proclaimed. Anyone can say anything about anyone, and it takes time to get it taken down,” she said.

Owens is a long-time hater of the LGBTQ+ community and she’s called for “more” discrimination against transgender people. YouTube suspended her account in September 2023 for hate speech. She’s another right-winger who’s overly obsessed with gender identity and people’s personal parts.

What’s especially upsetting about this is that right-wingers (I’m looking at you, Republicans) should be obsessed with their own problems regarding sex. Because believe me, they have many, many problems in that area.

It would be nice if Republicans would quit lying down in the gutter when this country has real problems that should take precedence over what people do behind closed doors or what they may or may not have changed between their legs.
