Karine Jean-Pierre Snaps at Radio Interviewer’s ‘Incredibly Insulting’ Question Then Hangs Up on Him

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was not in any mood for shenanigans Tuesday and one fool who asked her a disrespectful question found that out the hard way. The fool in question, North Carolina radio interviewer, Mark Garrison, of Charlotte’s WBT, told Jean-Pierre: “When I told a number of people that I was talking to you today, it was interesting, though. They all said: ‘Would you please just ask her, does the president have dementia?’ And so, before I move on from it — does he?”

Um…hello? Did he think she was going to say, “Yeah, he’s a daft old fool and we have to wipe the drool off his chin before he speaks?” It’s a dumb question as well as being disrespectful. And HuffPost reports:

“Mark, I can’t even believe you’re asking me this question,” Jean-Pierre responded.

Garrison was undeterred and he plodded on.

“But, you know people ask it,” Garrison said.

That brought out a fiery response from Jean-Pierre.

“You’re taking us down this rabbit hole,” Jean-Pierre fired back. “Let me be very clear about this. For the past several years, the president’s physician has laid out very, in a comprehensive way, the president’s health. This is a president — if you watch him every day, if you really pay attention to his record and what he has done, you will see exactly how focused he’s been on the American people, how historic his actions have been. And so I’m not even going to truly… take the premise of your question. I think it is incredibly insulting. And so we can move on to the next question.”

She hung around just long enough to answer a question about grocery and gas prices and then said her goodbyes. “And with that, thank you so much, Mark. Have an amazing, amazing day,” she said ending the call.

I’m sure she meant it, don’t you think?

One could accuse Garrison of grandstanding because of the way he asked about Biden’s cognitive faculties, the issue of his age (he’s 81) and that of former President Donald Trump, who’s 77, since Americans are definitely concerned about this.

A recent poll has highlighted this, showing that a majority of voters have doubts about the mental capabilities of both candidates.

I’m glad that for every interviewer with a ludicrous question, there’s a Karine Jeanne-Pierre to set them straight. But can’t we someday, SOMEDAY bring in presidential candidates who are younger than the last Tyrannosaur?

Here’s Jean-Pierre’s toasty rebuttal below.

And really, how many times does Donald Trump have to screw up before these people realize his dementia is decidedly worse than Biden’s?
