2024 Election
Lara Trump Pledges Fealty to Trump So Openly That Even Republicans Think It’s Disgusting
Lara Trump said she thinks co-chairing the RNC would be the perfect job for her. I guess she’s not content with offending Tom Petty fans and the late singer’s family with nasal-voice renditions of his songs. Lara Trump is pinning her hopes on this, since Ronna McDaniel, the current chair of the Republican National Committee, announced late last month that she would be stepping down. McDaniel’s decision came a couple of weeks after ex-president Donald Trump said the committee needed new leadership.
Trump subsequently endorsed North Carolina GOP chairman Michael Whatley to head the RNC, then turned right around and suggested his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump (Eric’s wife) would be a perfect co-chair, Queerty reports.
And the Fox News pundit and (hopefully short-lived) singer/songwriter has said she’d love the job. Lara Trump said that should she be elected she’d have only one priority:
“Every single penny will go to the number one and the only job of the RNC — that is electing Donald J. Trump as president of the United States and saving this country.”
I know, I’m sorry I had to share this annoying quote, but that’s what she believes, even if she did try to sell stupid MAGA pink Barbie Hats because she’s always trying to stay relevant. And this isn’t good news for any other Republican candidates hoping for a little financial help running their own elections.

She toned down the bombasticity over the weekend in a clip where she explained why she’s a good fit for the job and softened her “every single penny” to include additional MAGA nutjobs.
“I can assure you there will be no funny business,” Lara said on Real America’s Voice. “Anyone who is not on board with seeing Donald Trump as the 47th President and America-loving patriots all the way down the ticket being supported by the RNC is welcome to leave. Because we are not playing games and we have no time to waste.”
“So we have to ensure that every single penny of every dollar donated goes to the causes people care about,” she continued. That’s part of the reason I think I’m such a great fit for this.”
You can be sure that means the money will probably go to Trump’s legal bills. Because Donald Trump is the only cause he cares about and it would sure be purty convenient if his son’s wife is helming the RNC, now wouldn’t it? Nobody’s really fooling anybody with this move.
“There’s no one more loyal to Donald Trump and the Make America Great Again movement than this person you’re looking at right here, than me!” she continued.
See what I mean?
Lara Trump, the newly nominated co-chair of the RNC says that anyone who doesn't support Trump is “welcome to leave.”

And no, lots of people on X weren’t thrilled with Lara Trump’s remarks, including a number of GOPers.
Do I have to sign a pledge to Trump or what?
My allegiance is to God, Family, and Country
If I have to kiss the ring , I’m out

As an RNC official, she should ultimately be loyal to the RNC, not to any individual candidate or nominee. If that’s at odds with her loyalty to her father-in-law, she shouldn’t be a co-chair of RNC.

Her loyalty should be to our country, not one man.

I am a conservative Republican but I am not loyal to Trump. I am loyal to my country!

Lara, it's the Republican National Committee, not the Trump National Coffer. Stop the grifting.

@LaraLeaTrump I did leave the Repub party because of Trump, and I am PROUD to say that I never, and never will, support Trump. I will never vote Repub until the party is rid of Trump and MAGA. Best thing I ever did was to leave this messed up party!!

What a desperate cry for love and recognition to a family patriarch coming from someone within the family circle.
It’s all a competition to be in his fickle favor.
I should feel sorry for her obvious lack of self-worthiness.
But I don’t.
