Trump Ignores His Own Grandson at Event and Ivanka Looks Truly Furious as She Comforts Son Joseph

I don’t know if this is due to prolonged tension between himself and his daughter Ivanka Trump, but I do know one thing: Her father, Donald Trump is a jerk. I don’t think too many of you would disagree with me on this, but he was an even bigger jerk when he ignored his own grandson during a UFC match. And that, dear friends, is going viral.

As it should.

The former president, 77, was accompanied by UFC president Dana White as he walked into the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida on Saturday, where he greeted fans, the video shows, per Newsweek. Kid Rock’s American Dumbass, er American Badass blared over the speakers.

Trump was all smiles when he spotted his daughter Ivanka and gave her a big hug and then shook hands with her husband Jared Kushner. As his grandson moves towards him, Trump walks away and the young boy clearly looks dejected. Newsweek doesn’t mention which grandchild this is (Jared and Ivanka have three kids: daughter Arabella and sons Joseph and Theodore), but it appears to be Joseph. I don’t generally keep up with Ivanka’s kids, but that’s me.

As Trump moves on, we see Ivanka over his shoulder. She briefly smiles but that turns into a scowl as she comforts her son.

The clip, posted by Meidas Touch Editor and avowed Trump critic Ron Filipkowski earlier Tuesday, has received a sizable 1.6 million views.

“Now I see what Ivanka was so pissed [sic]. Trump blew off his own grandson while he was mugging with B List celebrities and the kid was pretty bummed out. This is who he really is behind the fake show,” Filipkowski posted.

We already know Trump is the Tin Man, the Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion all in one. He has no heart, no brains, and no courage. That’s the only time I’ll reference The Wizard of Oz, the movie is a classic that should never be confused with the Tangerine Scream. And Filipkowski followed the clip up with a closeup of Ivanka not looking too happy about the incident. And of course another clip of Ivanka’s young son looking sad.

Trump sat cage-side with Jared and Ivanka during UFC 299, having made a surprise appearance and he was greeted warmly by the crowd, with some in the audience appearing to shout “F*ck Joe Biden” during the event. Trump has attended a number of UFC fights, often accompanied by washed-up rocker Kid Rock.

Of course, Filipkowski’s posts were accompanied by plenty of comments from X users.

“Family values on full display,” quipped @bostonteapartyd.

“Damn Donald, that was pretty cold,” commented Cooper.

“This is the kind of thing that kids remember,” said @MacyBuckner.

“And that’s the grandson from the kid he actually *likes*,” wrote Jay Black.

“Family is only important to Trump, when they are useful to further his power. Poor kid…,” said Ramon Caudle.
