Former Trump Insider Gives the REAL Backstory on Melania’s Appearance With Trump at Mar-a-Lago Fundraiser

She says Melania is in for a rough ride.

Stephanie Winston-Wolkoff, a former aide to Melania Trump and a personal friend — or at least she was — has, since Trump left office, come incredibly clean about not just things that happened during Donald’s time in the Oval Office, but about the nature of the Trumps’ personalities.

Having been as close with the former First Lady as she was, she has not only an inside look on the former President’s life and administration, but also a unique perspective on both.

After all of Melania’s extended time out of the spotlight — avoiding public events and her husband’s trials — Winston-Wolkoff just made a public comment on a recent appearance that Melania actually showed up for. After “not being able to make it” to a ceremony that awarded her for her child advocacy that was held where she lives, Stephanie was ready to spill the beans.

The event Melania was willing to show up for was a fundraiser at the home of Palm Beach billionaire John Paulson. Trump raised a boatload of money, by which I mean, he raised enough money from the rich people in attendance to buy a boat big enough to store the rest of the money.

At the even, Trump said that Americans wanted change, and promised to make that change. He’s never really specified when America wasn’t great, but he’s still shooting for “again.”

What concerned Winston-Wolkoff, though, was what she sees in the future for Melania.

If Melania is going to begin to accompany Trump on the campaign trail. she’s in for maybe a dark time, her former friend said in a tweet.

“Looks like Melania Trump is about to dive head first into a pool of sharks & nobody’s going to protect her. I was the only life guard on duty when she was First Lady. She chose to live a life in a minefield, where every step is treacherous & never sure when it might explode. She and he are one in the same.”

Now all this talk about Melania’s absence isn’t without reason. She didn’t even show up to take the photo with her family for the Christmas card last year.

In her meager defense, her mother had been ill and then recently died, and her son (with Donald) Barron just turned 18, which is quite an age for a parent to wrestle with.

But for the one thing she does show up for to be a billionaire’s house to make money so her hubby get back in power is pretty galling. It’s no wonder Winston-Wolkoff elected to comment this time.

Here’s her tweet:
