MAGA Rep. Mary Miller Thanks Trump for Giving ‘White Life’ a Win — Also Once Said ‘Hitler Was Right on One Thing’

If there is one rule that civilized society can agree upon it is that there is no reason to quote Hitler, none, and doing so offends so many people that if a person quotes Hitler, it is almost surely a purposeful wink.

As we reported on Saturday night, Trump held a “rally” on behalf of Rep. Mary Miller who faces a primary battle, and also in support of Darren Bailey who is a Republican candidate for the GOP primary for governor. Speaking of rallies, how did they ever become known as such things? They are now revivals of a religion more than anything. In the real world, they are simply called speeches. Except for one weird thing, Hitler held rallies, too.

And that is interesting when we come to Mary Miller who said, as we reported, that Trump helped bring about a victory for “white life” with the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe. Of course, Miller will say that it was a slip of the tongue, an accident. Except some of the more openly racist MAGAs have been talking about the need for more “white babies,” and Miller has an odd element lingering in her past.

Here is her “slip” last night:

She is one of the few who “quoted Hitler” and, as we’ve said, is never acceptable. Moreover, she quoted Hitler in an odd way in that she could have gotten a similar comment from many, many, different sources, and still chose Hitler. According to NBC Chicago:

A newly-sworn in congresswoman from southern Illinois quoted Adolf Hitler as she spoke outside the U.S. Capitol, saying the German Nazi leader “was right on one thing.”

Rep. Mary Miller was speaking at a rally in Washington, D.C. when a Twitter user posted video Tuesday showing a portion of her speech.

“If we win a few elections, we’re still going to be losing unless we win the hearts and minds of our children. This is the battle,” Miller is heard saying in the footage. “Hitler was right on one thing. He said, ‘Whoever has the youth has the future.’”

Interesting. She sends a lot of signals, doesn’t she?
