Geraldo Says the Covid Vaccine Should Be Named After Trump So He Doesn’t Feel So Sad

This. Is. Unbelievable.

The current president of the United States is such a damned baby that he is currently “bunkering down” in the White House “pouting” (according to staff reports) because his feelings are hurt, he is humiliated, and mad about losing the election. He is still trying to win, read his Twitter feed sometime if you want to visit a completely different world.

But Geraldo has a great idea!

The problem is Trump feels like a loser, according to Geraldo.

Except, Trump is a loser. He lost the election by five million popular votes and by the same electoral college landslide that he bragged about. More importantly, well over a quarter of a million Americans will have died on his watch and there are two very precarious months ahead that could significantly add to that total. Thus it would seem that the man who lost after one term (hard to do), soundly lost, and had an atrocious number of Americans die because he never put together a national response, makes that person a loser.

But Geraldo can make him a winner.

I had an idea, with the world so divided and everybody telling him he has to give up and time to leave and time to transition and all the rest of it, why not name the vaccine ‘The Trump’? Make it — have you gotten your Trump yet? It would be a nice gesture to him, and years from now it would become kind of a generic name. Have you got your Trump yet? I got my Trump, I’m fine. I wished we could honor him in that way. Because he’s definitely the prime architect of this Operation Warp Speed and but for him we’d still be waiting, you know, into the grim winter these amazing, miraculous breakthroughs.

I have an idea, Geraldo. How about you just go Trump yourself?

Why don’t you go ask any of the 325,000 (approximately) families of the dead by January 20th how badly they want to “honor” this president by naming the vaccine after him?

Geraldo? ANY PRESIDENT would have removed nearly EVERY barrier to ensure that the vaccine was completed and out to the American people as fast as possible. That is not an accomplishment. The great accomplishment is the work done by American scientists, despite the disinformation coming from the White House.

I have another idea. Why don’t we expect the president to act like an adult and get over this and become “an American” interested in the country more than his hurt feelings? That way we don’t have to worry about calling the vaccine the Trump vaccine and insulting so many?
