Ivanka Trump Accepts Joy Behar’s Dare, Will Receive Coronavirus Vaccine Live on ‘The View’

While questions remain about the effectiveness of a coronavirus vaccine scheduled to be introduced by Operation Warp Speed, Ivanka Trump accepted Joy Behar’s challenge to take the vaccine.

“Deal Joy Behar,” she posted in a tweet Thursday. “I would come on your show to do so. I trust the FDA and so should all Americans. Vanquishing this virus should be our collective top priority.”

Ivanka, who serves as a White House adviser for her father President Donald Trump was responding to Behar’s challenge on The View, Mediaite reports. Behar is skeptical of the Trump administration’s claim that the initiative will produce a vaccine before the end of the year.

“He will push anything to get re-elected. Don’t fall for it,” she said. “And by the way I will take the vaccine after Ivanka takes it.”

Considering the fact that we now know Trump willfully mislead the American people by downplaying the severity of the situation and instead suggesting ridiculous cures Behar is right to be skeptical.

Wednesday on The View, Behar responded to Trump’s claim that the vaccine will be ready “very, very soon, by the end of the year, but much sooner than that perhaps,” by noting:

“As far as the vaccine is concerned, I’d like to inform America — in case we don’t know this because I looked all this up for you — the mumps vaccine took four years, the polio vaccine took 20 years, and the smallpox vaccine took a few centuries.”

“It was developed initially in 1796 when they started to think about it and it became useful in the 1950s. Okay?” she said. “It’s not a simple thing to do.”

But Trump is feeling the heat right now and grabbing at straws because it’s finally dawned on him that he may lose the election, so he’s taking desperate measures and stepping up his bogus claims.

“Under Operation Warp Speed, we’re producing a vaccine in record time,” he said at a campaign rally Tuesday in North Carolina. “This is a vaccine that we’re going to have very soon. Very, very soon, by the end of the year, but much sooner than that perhaps. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris rated the most liberal, are undermining science and risking countless lives with their reckless anti-vaccine rhetoric.”

He’s blaming Biden and Harris for undermining science? Wow. Trump has called climate change a hoax and suggested bleach and hydroxychloroquine might be effective cures. Both these claims have been thoroughly debunked, and he’s criticizing Biden and Harris for undermining science?

Does this man even know how inadvertently comical he really is?
