NEW LOW: Trump Campaign Running Ads Featuring Biden Wearing Fake Ear Piece in Debate
While Donald Trump lies in a hospital bed ordering his doctors to lie to the nation about his condition, while he has pictures taken ten minutes apart of him signing blank sheets of paper, while having his doctors preposterously talking about discharging Trump tomorrow, and all this happening while at the same time, the Biden campaign has withdrawn all its attack ads, given Trump’s illness, we now find out just how low the Trump campaign is willing to go.
Or, we sorta knew all along, but yeah, we see yet another indication. This, of course, comes after the Trump campaign spread false rumors that the Biden campaign refused to submit to an “ear check” prior to the debate for earpieces. Presumably, the implication was that Biden needed answers fed to him by his team. Turns out it wouldn’t have mattered since Biden wouldn’t have been able to hear over Trump’s shouting anyway.
From CNN’s Fact Check:
Facts First: The Trump ads’ image of Biden wearing an earpiece is not authentic. The image was manipulated to add the earpiece to a real photo that shows Biden without an earpiece.

Because this is the Trump campaign we’re talking about, they are also running ads without the earpiece in it, near proving their own hoax, not that facts ever played a significant role in anything the Trump campaign has done.
Upon being caught? What did the Trump campaign do? What do Trump and the Trump campaign always do when caught doing or saying something stupid?
They were just joshin’.
The Trump campaign’s communications director, Tim Murtaugh, said in a Thursday email in response to CNN’s request for comment that the ads featuring the earpiece are “obvious satire” of what he claimed was the Biden campaign’s decision to agree to a pre-debate earpiece inspection and then changing its mind.
Here’s the ad in question:
Here’s another version:
Sure, yeah – sure thing fellas. Ha ha. We get it. Good joke.
