Trump Tweets That Gen. John Kelly is a ‘Major Sleaze’ Then Laughably Denies Calling Vets ‘Losers and Suckers’

It is becoming increasingly obvious that Trump has two priorities right now.

One, and we’ve already covered this today, but number one is always, get some money! He is going to milk this cow until the cow bites his fingers and makes them even shorter. Ever seen one of his emails? He has a second term coming if only you’d reach back into your pocket, get your wallet out, and jam in that card number that you’ve already memorized and your computer has saved anyway. For godsake, Duke, get that going so he can get that second term going. The more the better the second term will be.

The second priority is always the second priority (we see a pattern here), hurt, inflict pain, damage, destroy, bankrupt, pillage, those people that hurt Trump at one point over the last four years. Because Trump refuses to die until these people have suffered worse and regret it. That’s what he believes makes him a winner and them losers.

We draw out two tweets, fairly similar in tone, in which Trump starts to hurt “that guy” – and we all know “the guy” – who leaked out the “suckers and losers” thing. Poor John Kelly went from a respected retired general to “major sleaze” in two short years, and we can assure you that Trump isn’t done. He has said in the past that there is nothing he loves more than getting even.

Here is Trump’s first fairly mild attempt that comes literally out of nowhere except the recesses of Trump’s mind that he doesn’t have.

Now, of course, that statement and the question about “what’s in it for them” can’t be read in isolation. No one should forget that the kid born into wealth who had exactly nothing to do with his father’s rise at that point in time, comparing the money they lost and the hostile things said about them are essentially the same experience as getting a grenade exploding right below you as you try to save others or taking a bullet to the head without knowing one was even in danger at the time. One second alive, the next dead.

Any family that thinks along those lines, father and son having the same attitude toward the military and the “what’s in it for them?” approach is very capable of having a father call dead heroes suckers and losers.

John Kelly’s real problem, the one that is getting him these tweets – albeit without direct references – is that he broke the code. He broke the code that is essential to Trump’s life. NO ONE can know the real truth because the real truth is as ugly as … well, comparing losing some money and being called names to diving off a ship half on fire and drowning for one’s country.

We will be seeing A LOT more of these in the coming weeks.

Also, journalist Yashar Ali brought up an important point, that Trump’s “losers and suckers” statement might have cost him some military votes:
