Rittenhouse Lawyer Plants His Flag: Don Jr. is an ‘Idiot’ for Wanting to Send Kyle an AR-15

Most of us don’t like the fact that Kyle Rittenhouse’s attorney, Mark Richards, did his job so well. But he has sworn an oath to “zealously” represent his client. It is quickly becoming apparent that Richards is a lawyers’ type of lawyer. He defended a client, not a cause. He is still defending his client (in court regarding the money) and he is still trying to protect his client from those who are using him.

Richards spoke to the media, likely – in part, to get a message to his client. According to Business Insider:

“There’s a lot of people trying to profit on this, and I don’t think people should. They’re raising money on it and you have all these Republican congressmen saying come work for me. They want to trade on his celebrity and I think it’s disgusting.”

It is disgusting. A kid who has been identified as giving an uppercut punch to a girl, a kid pictured drinking with Proud Boys, flashing white power signs, and a kid that pulled the trigger in a situation that he sought out. It is disgusting that Gaetz, Gosar, and Cawthorn have all offered internships.

Meanwhile, in a since-deleted tweet, Don Jr. said:

G*n Owners of America is sending Kyle Rittenhouse an AR-15. Sign the card in support of Kyle. Americans have a fundamental right to defend themselves and to keep and bear arms. The verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial is a recognition of those rights.

Put that same g*n in the hands of a young Black man who uses that g*n against three white men on the same video and see if they are sending that same g*n with the same recognition of “those rights.”

Meanwhile, Richardson was still representing his client’s best interests when he talked about Don Jr., “He’s an idiot. I don’t have to expand on that because it speaks for itself.”

And it always has.

Richardson was just doing his job and he’s good at it. He is proving why he did so well, keeping a level head and knowing what’s in his client’s best interest, even when his client won’t listen.
