Oath Keeper Leader Stewart Rhodes Denied Bail Due to ‘Elaborate Escape Tunnels’ in His Backyard
There is a tendency that liberals have to get away from.
Just as we don’t like groups lumped into stereotypes based on race, sexual orientation, and religion, we really shouldn’t do the same thing with MAGAs. Some of the most powerful anti-Trump, pro-progressive “real Jesus” articles have come from Christian Fundamentalist magazines.
We tend to see all MAGAs as mouth-breathing country hicks who simply don’t know any better (to get vaxxed, and some of that is true) but we shouldn’t do it. In noting this, this site is pointing at ourselves, no one else.
The lesson was reinforced today when we learned, for the first time, that the Founder of the Oath Keepers is a Yale Law School grad, which is not easy, and certainly tells us that he knew what he was doing all along.

This is Stewart Rhodes, and if you listen to the video, we warn you ahead of time, the violence his family underwent was not just a slap to the face once, this is very depraved stuff and could evoke a lot of emotion.
Oath Keeper founder Stewart Rhodes was ordered jailed pending his trial for seditious conspiracy. Rhodes, a Yale Law grad had been disbarred, hasn’t paid taxes since 2007 and his wife told the court of his family violence!.

Tunnels in his backyard? A man who threatened his family the way he did then leading an organization that is para-military at best? This is one dangerous, dangerous, man, and if there ever was a person fighting that day capable of seditious conspiracy, it’s the guy with tunnels in his backyard.
Thankfully, he’ll now be prosecuted by Yale law school grads in front of a judge who likely went to an Ivy League school and Rhodes is not fooling anyone.
