Jill Biden Appeared on Sesame Street and Conservatives Just Can’t Take It

Anyone brighter than a 25-watt bulb would know that First Lady Jill Biden is kind. But when she appeared on Sesame Street to talk to the program’s cute and iconic puppets about the importance of being kind, conservatives forgot how to be just that, The Independent reports.

The beloved children’s show posted her cameo on its Twitter account Monday. In the clip, she introduces the word of the day: “Kindness.”

“When we do things for others, it makes us feel good too,” Biden tells Elmo and two other Muppets. “It’s important that we are kind to every person, monster, animal, and the environment.”

Conservatives on Twitter went cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs.

“History will not be kind to her,” one fumed. “She should never have put the nation through this awful time.”

“Nasty Botox Jill was a horrible mother,” wrote someone else, posting unpleasant photos of Hunter Biden using drugs (even though Hunter is not Dr. Biden’s biological son) but logic and conservatives are rarely acquainted.

“What would she know about kindness, when she mocks American peasants suffering with historic inflation and gas prices?” said another one.

Fortunately, most of the commenters exemplified what Biden was talking about. They supported her and Sesame Street, firing back at those posting cruel messages right under a clip whose theme was “kindness.”

“Anyone who feels empowered to respond like this on a children’s program social media feed really needs to look deep into their souls  as to why they are this way,” one person wrote. “I’m sorry you are like this.”

And most people loved the video. It brings a little sweetness into a world that’s potentially entering a very dark time, and kindness is definitely something we all need right now. I’m including the video below.

Enjoy!
