2022 Midterms
Lauren Boebert’s in Trouble — Gets a Serious Primary Challenger Who People Like and Won’t Humiliate the District
The chances of Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) being reelected aren’t looking quite so promising now that veteran lawmaker Don Coram successfully petitioned to have himself added to the Republican primary ballot this June.
In an announcement Tuesday, Colorado state election officials said Coram was added to the ballot after a review of the 2000 signatures he submitted in March to hopefully boot Boebert out of Congress. Mediaite reports that Coram’s campaign released a statement where he said he will work to bring results to Colorado’s 3rd district and derided Boebert’s “embarrassing juvenile antics on the national stage.
Coram is a long-time member of Colorado’s state legislature, and he’s Boebert’s sole primary challenger scheduled for June 28th. But as you might expect, as soon as Boebert heard the bad news, the barbs began flying.
“Don Coram is a corrupt liberal who buddies up to Democrats every chance he gets,” her campaign told The Denver Gazette. “Corrupt Coram will be soundly defeated in the Republican primary because Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is the only conservative in this race.”
Then it was Coram’s turn.
“I look forward to setting the record straight on the lies Lauren Boebert and her supporters have peddled,” he said. “I will make the case to primary voters as to why I am the most qualified candidate to represent them and their families.”
“Enough is enough!” he added. “Let’s make Lauren’s first term in Congress her last.”

Boebert, who was elected to Congress in 2020 is an avid Trump supporter who frequently makes nonsensical claims on Twitter. She heckled President Biden during his March State of The Union speech and stupidly called Vice President Kamala Harris “uneducated.” Even though Harris graduated from Howard University and the Hastings College of Law at the University of California. Boebert, on the other hand, is a high school dropout who earned her GED in the months leading up to the 2020 elections, Snopes reports.

And perhaps in response to the recent New York subway shootings, Boebert, ever the gun nut, made this observation and then got owned.
Never forget that the people who want to take away your guns are the people who know the least about them.
