Ted Cruz Gets Pummeled on Twitter for Mocking FLOTUS Jill Biden
In speaking about FLOTUS Jill Biden’s comments recently in San Antonio to Hispanic advocacy groups, Jill made a comment that wasn’t even that controversial and certainly not meant to be insulting. As described by the New York Post, here is a recap of what happened:
“The first lady apologizes that her words conveyed anything but pure admiration and love for the Latino community,” tweeted Jill Biden’s spokesperson, Michael LaRosa.
The First Lady made the comments during a speech Monday in front of Hispanic advocacy groups.
“Raul helped build this organization with the understanding that the diversity of this community — as distinct as the bodegas of the Bronx, as beautiful as the blossoms of Miami, and as unique as the breakfast tacos here in San Antonio — is your strength,” Jill Biden said.
Okay, generally, it is not really “nice” to link a community to a food group, though the one that was usually used to put Hispanics down was some variation of “burrito,” whatever. But the above still has us scratching our heads as to how Biden insulted the Hispanic community. Let’s put it this way. It’s a reach. But then again, if one wants to criticize Jill, it’s always going to be a reach.

Or, let’s put it another way, in comparison to pulling kids out of the arms of their parents – some of which have still not been returned to families due to the gross negligence of the Trump administration, it is not even on the same planet. Nor does it compare at all to wearing a $45 coat that reads, “I Don’t Care, Do U?” to visit those children. Melania spends more than $45 on a bath coat. There is no possible way that the coat she wore that day wasn’t special order for the message.
So when Ted Cruz decided to mock Jill Biden, it was MSNBC legal analyst Joyce Vance who came riding in to slap Ted around more than a little bit, using Melania as the club.
Republicans we're outraged when Melania was criticized for openly plagiarizing Michelle Obama or wearing the "I really don't care" jacket to visit migrant kids held in custody in horrible conditions, but sure, go ahead. https://t.co/adyasyrxJX

Now THAT is how it is done. And Twitter stood up and roared:
Cruz like a ten year old. Childish taunts. A brilliant and educated man and a danger to the Constitution.

In honor of Ted Cruz I'm going to skip alerting my neighbor's sleeping family that their house is on fire and run off to Cancun.

THIS is what he spends his time on. I wonder how long it took him to think it up, obtain the burrito and have a photo session. Could probably have spent that time doing something for his state.

Jill Biden is a better hispanic ally than rafael cruz any second, any minute, any hour of any day.

Jill Biden is human, but she has proven to be caring as well as intelligent. Most people know this. Cruz shouldn’t be critical of anyone, he ran away when the going got too tough for him.

Remember when Ted Cruz fled the country as his own constituents froze to death? Remember when Trump called his wife ugly and then he supported him anyways? Remember when he ejected a tonsil stone on live television and then swallowed it? Remember when his daughter refused a hug?
