2024 Election
Trump Adviser’s ‘Dream Cabinet’ for 2nd Trump Term Has Jeanine Pirro as AG and Lara Trump as UN Ambassador
Boy, these former Trump administration members sure keep firing out books, don’t they? Recently there’s been books from Kellyanne Conway (I’ve heard this one makes a good door stop) Josh Hawley writing about “masculine virtues” (Him? Really?) and Jared Kushner. Well, right along with these tomes, we will soon have Peter Navarro’s to add to the heap.
According to Mediaite, Navarro, former trade advisor to ex-president Donald Trump has already decided which notables should serve in Trump’s second Cabinet should we be unlucky enough to get stuck with him again in 2025. Of course, he wants a few oldies but not necessarily goodies to return. This includes Ben Carson, former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), for the Department of Health and Human Services, and former Chief of Staff to Acting Secretary of Defense Kash Patel, whom Navarro sees as the next Director of National Intelligence.
But at least one of his other choices is shocking to the point of being absurd. Navarro thinks Jeanine Pirro, a former New York State Judge turned Fox News personality would be well-suited to head the Department of Justice as Attorney General.
If that happens, I wonder if it will drastically increase her budget for alcohol?

Pirro is one of the co-hosts of Fox News’s The Five and perhaps the most notable thing about her is she habitually makes outlandish statements, that include such things as ignoring parts of the First Amendment, specifically the separation of church and state because not all that long ago she claimed the U.S. was “founded on Judeo-Christian ethics.”
As for Navarro, he argues in his book that Trump was poorly served by “bad personnel” as president, and this is something he aims to prevent if we get stuck with, er if Trump wins again in 2024.
Navarro’s book is set for release about two months before he is scheduled to appear in court for his contempt of Congress trial, Mediaite reports. The former Trump adviser pleaded not guilty last month to two charges of contempt of Congress after refusing to comply with a subpoena from the House Select Committee investigating the January 6th Capitol insurrection.
Navarro claims he’s protected by executive privilege since he remained in close proximity to the former president. That said, Navarro will still have to put his book tour on hold because his November trial coincides with the release of his book. Navarro faces up to two years behind bars if he is convicted, according to the Justice Department.
Other members of Navarro’s fantasy Cabinet include Rep. Sean Duffy (R-Wis.) as Secretary of Transportation, Ken Cuccinelli, resuming his post as the head of the Department of Homeland Security, and possibly Trump’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump as ambassador to the United Nations. That ought to be a hoot.
We’ll get to be an embarrassment in the world court again. Lucky us.
