Trump Releases Very Dark and Disturbing Address to J6 Defendants, ‘People Are Being Tormented!’

Former President Donald Trump posted a video message Thursday and complained that those imprisoned for the January 6 crimes they committed are being ‘tormented’ and treated ‘very, very unfairly, and said he plans to “get to the bottom of it” during his 2024 White House run.

According to a staffer from Trump’s Save America PAC, the ex-president had filmed a special message for the Patriot Freedom Project’s open house, a holiday-themed shindig for one prominent group that’s providing legal defense for January 6 defendants, The Daily Mail reports.

“Pariot freedom is what it’s about and that’s not happening in our country,” Trump said in the video, filmed at Mar-a-Lago. “What they’ve done to torment people and go after people, like never before, I don’t think anything like this has ever happened in our country before, certainly not to this extent.”

“And you look at other groups which have done terrible things and virtually nothing happened to them,” he added.

I understand that those who were convicted and are now imprisoned for what they did on January 6 aren’t exactly having fun in prison. But let’s face it, folks, jail isn’t supposed to be fun. There’s a reason these people are here. Police officers trying to do their jobs and protect others died in this. They broke into the Capitol building and terrorized people and threatened to hang Mike Pence.

So, to quote my partner, if they’re being “tormented” tough toodles.

Trump had plenty of praise for Patriot Freedom Project leader Cynthia Hughes, who’s been derided for stacking the group with her family members.

“So it’s a very unfair situation and we’re going to be, as you know, looking about it and talking about it very, very strongly in the coming weeks, months and over the next periiod of a year, year and half during the campaign,” the former president said.

Trump, who announced his candidacy for the presidency in 2024 the week after the midterm elections went on to say he’s “taking this very seriously.”

“People have been treated unconstitutionally, in my opinion, and very, very unfairly, and we’re going to get to the bottom of it,” he said. “And you know what I’ve said, I take it very seriously, I’ve never seen anything like it at all levels.”

He then blamed all this on the “weaponization of the Department of Justice” — something he’s been complaining about since the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago to search for documents that went missing during his time as president.

“And we can’t let this happen in our country because our country is going — not socialist, they’ve skipped over that, they’ve skipped over socialism — our country is going communist,” Trump claimed. “This is what happens and we can’t let it happen, we have to stop it.”

Trump has claimed off and on, beginning in September that if he was re-elected president that he intends to grant full pardons to everyone involved in the Capitol insurrection — which he was impeached for as the House of Representatives charged he had incited the riot.

The video was streamed by the Right Side Broadcasting Network, which also tacked on a trailer for a “Due Process Denied” documentary. The trailer claims the “documentary” will “tell the story of those accused of crimes and the fallout of their families and the families left behind who feel targeted by their own government.”

I can’t even with these people. I just can’t. These people are in jail for committing treacherous crimes because they took seriously the words of a man who clearly doesn’t understand the Constitution. Trump wanted to bend all of this around his will and he failed.

I don’t think he has the proverbial snowball’s chance in hell of winning again. He’s worse than that annoying insect that buzzes in front of your eyes until you swat it away. I’m hoping enough people are sick of him because I sure enough am.
