Everyone makes mistakes, and one mistake, in the form of a lousy ex-husband is coming back to haunt Dr. Jill Biden.

You say you didn’t know Jill was married before she met Joe Biden? Welp, she certainly was. This was back in the early 1970s, to a man named Bill Stevenson, who has now come back on the poor woman like a bad case of psoriasis. Sorry to say that bluntly, but Stevenson is just plain, grade AAA awful.

I’ll explain and add a bit of back story.

Before Dr. Jill met Joe Biden, she was briefly married to Stevenson from 1970 to 1975, when they were officially divorced. It was a messy divorce that left the future first lady with nothing, according to Queerty.

That, however, didn’t put a dent in her stride. She wed the future president two years later and the couple have been married for the last 46 years. Along the way, she received a doctorate degree, became a teacher who’s loved by many, a New York Times bestselling author, an activist/philanthropist in good standing, and first lady.

Stevenson, however, faded from view. But he’s popped up like acid reflux this week and hit the conservative media circuit for reasons that are clear only to him.

Talking to Newsmax’s Greg Kelly, Stevenson shredded his ex-wife. He hasn’t spoken to her in 40+ years and claimed the “Biden Crime Family has been bullying him for decades.

“Frankie Biden of the Biden crime family comes up to me and he goes, ‘Give her the house or you’re going to have serious problems,'” Stevenson told Kelly, recalling what President Biden’s brother Frank allegedly told him in 1982, long after he and Jill had divorced.

“I looked at Frankie and I said, ‘Are you threatening me?’ and needless to say, about two months later, my brother and I were indicted for that tax charge for $8,200.”

At this time, Joe Biden was the junior senator from Delaware. His brother Frank worked at a law firm.

“[I] could not believe the power of Joe Biden and the Department of Justice. I couldn’t believe it,” Stevenson complained.

Then Kelly falsely equated Stevenson and his brother allegedly being charged with two felonies totaling less than $10,000 in unpaid taxes with Hunter Biden only being charged with two misdemeanors for a $2.2 million unpaid tax bill and at that time Stevenson began the pity party.

“I was on the wrong side of them and they have literally come after me for 35 years in a row,” he said. “One little thing after another.”

But Stevenson didn’t elaborate on how, or even why the Bidens have been purportedly targeting him all this time.

And if you guessed he’s a Trump supporter, ding! Ding! Ding! You win.

At one point in the interview, Stevenson talked about the wonders of Donald Trump who continues to face a myriad of legal troubles, including another indictment from the DOJ that’s expected any day now. Stevenson said he’s speaking out against the Bidens because “I can’t let them do this to a president that I love and respect.”

“This is why I’ve come forward,” Stevenson told Kelly. “This is the only reason I’ve come forward. It’s like I said, nothing about the divorce, no bitterness, but Jimmy, Frankie, and President Biden are very dangerous, and it’s tragic.”

“I can’t let them do what they did to me to President Trump. I can’t do it.”

Seems to me like there’s a big difference between what happened to Trump and what happened to Stevenson, who has a weird sense of self-importance.

I’m betting Dr. Jill has little, if any, regrets that this marriage ended when it did. Who can blame her?
