Looks Like Barron Tump Will Be Going to College in New York Which Poses a Major Problem for Melania (Or Not!)

First of all, Congratulations to Barron Trump on his graduation from high school – it could not have been easy. We know nothing about the young man, let’s assume the best.

Additionally, Barron Trump is apparently headed to NYU for college, a great liberal school that is sure to cause some ire at home – to the extent that Barron is around his father at all. Perhaps Dartmouth or Berkeley would’ve been funnier, but NYU is good enough when it comes to good liberal higher education.

According to the Daily Beast:

We hear that NYU is at the top of his list. The school is No. 35 on the U.S. News and World Report rankings, three miles from Trump Tower, and home to the John A. Paulson Center, which was built with a $100 million gift from the hedge-fund billionaire—who threw a fundraiser for Trump at his Palm Beach home in April and raised a whopping $50 million for the MAGA campaign. Tuition and fees for a 2024 freshman comes to $93,000—which Trump can probably afford, even with that $83 million judgment in his civil fraud case hanging over his head.

Almost $100,000 for one year of school. There are going to be some excellent teachers, musicians, even engineers and lawyers that are leaving undergrad with nearly a half million dollars in debt – though few pay the full amount, we know. But that is simply stunning, stunning.

We dearly hope that Barron appreciates how lucky he is to have this option.

Plus, he can live at home! He would only have to walk three miles and imagine the parties he could throw. Sadly, Barron, I think we can safely say there is no way you str living alone in Trump Tower and walking or taking the subway to school without Mom there.

We could say something mean about Melania but why? It would almost be “Mother Malpractice” to leave a freshman son in a giant condo alone among new collegiate friends. Plus, one suspects that Barron will want to have mom around. So God forbid Trump wins the presidency, I. am pretty sure we will have an absent First Lady again.

One of the ways we can measure how time flies as adults (as opposed to kids) is that we watch presidential kids grow up so fast. It wasn’t long ago that little Malia Obama was waving to us from inside of a football stadium on election night, and it won’t be but maybe 10-12 years from now that she’ll be sworn in as President Malia Obama!

Good luck, Barron – and congratulations. For tonight, we’re going to “be best.” We are sure mom is proud. Dad is a little busy.
