Fox’s Ainsley Earhardt Says Trump Was the Hardest Working President Because He Watched Every Show

Fox News’ Ainsley Earhardt seems to have an unusual idea of what really constitutes “work.” As in, she popped up on Fox & Friends to applaud Donald Trump’s work ethic because he “watches every show.”

She was being interviewed by the show’s cohost, Kristen Soltis Anderson and the two were discussing the political situation when Joe Biden becomes President on Wednesday, according to Mediaite. But then Earhardt swerved across a few lanes to fawn over Trump.

“They’ll criticize President Trump, but no one can argue he is a worker (well, when it comes to golf, anyway). He doesn’t drink alcohol. He stays up late at night. He watches every show. He is working. He got to work immediately.”

While many of us would agree that watching Fox News can seem like work (or drudgery, at least), it’s not actual work. As Mediaite’s Ken Meyer notes:

“Work involves actually doing something, like counteracting the impact of the coronavirus, speeding up the distribution of vaccines, rolling out a new healthcare plan for America, or helping the nation heal after a mob of insurrectionists attacked the U.S. Capitol.”

But of course, Earhardt declined to mention any of this, instead preferring to bring up Sen. Tom Cotton’s criticism of Biden’s “radical” immigration agenda.

Of course, just a few days ago, Earhardt was doing lots of hand-wringing over whether or not Trump would forgive Vice President Mike Pence for not helping him to overturn the election. Apparently, this woman just worships Trump, because I don’t know how else to explain what’s wrong with her. She’s even described him as a “blue-collar guy with money.” Yeah, right. He’s in debt up to his eyeballs and he knows about as much about being “blue-collar” as he does about being honest.

Which is to say he doesn’t know anything about either.
