Sarah Huckabee Sanders Says Trump Gave Her Starbursts and Diet Coke Because She’s a ‘F*cking Killer’

The Trump administration was beset by problems from the get-go, and nowhere was that clearer than when Sarah Huckabee Sanders took over for Sean Spicer as White House Press Secretary a mere four months after Trump took office when it became apparent that press briefings just weren’t his thing.

Thus began the famously contentious relationship between Huckabee Sanders and the press, much to Trump’s delight, The New York Post reports.

“You’re a f*cking killer!” he sometimes told her after watching her briefings from the sidelines.

Huckabee Sanders writes about this and her experiences with Trump in her new book Speaking for Myself, to be released Tuesday. She tries to paint things all homey and such but a turd is still a turd no matter how much glitter you slather all over it.

I’m sure the book isn’t poorly written; whatever you think of Huckabee Sanders, she generally seemed erudite if unwilling to answer tough questions.

But she wants Americans to see a man that really only exists in her world.

“I want America and even the world to see the president that I see,” Sanders told the Post. “A generous and kind person who really loves this country and will do whatever it takes to make it great.”

Yeah, he’s doing a bang-up job making the country great again, what with more than 193,000 Americans dead in a pandemic that he could have made much less severe. A crisis he’s made worse by refusing to wear a mask and hyping bogus cures that are dangerous.

Her book tells of a man who offered her Diet Cokes as the “ultimate sign of his approval” and Starbust candies as a reward: “You can have all the pink and reds you want,” she writes.

Well isn’t that just ducky?

Trump placed his confidence in Huckabee Sanders as someone who wouldn’t betray his trust.

“How do I know?” he reportedly told her. “Because you’re a Christian and you wouldn’t get into Heaven if you did. That’s why I’ve always liked religious people.”

She became one of his closest allies.

“I spent more time with him than just about anybody else but the family,” Huckabee Sanders writes. “The president knew I wasn’t trying to push any agenda other than his.”

Which makes her just as evil and perhaps deluded as he is. That agenda included incarcerating immigrant children in detention camps, all-out racism against people of color, hamstringing the press, and whittling away at what few rights we still have.

Shame on her.
