George Santos Brags About How Much Weight He’s Lost on Ozempic, Wants a ‘Cage Match’ With Mitt Romney

It’s not all that long ago that wackadoodle right-wing Rep. George Santos (R-N.Y.) claimed he’d only just discovered Only Fans, even though he actually “discovered” the site in 2020 and tried to disparage Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.) with it. Santos has been hit with one scandal after another, and is even the subject of an investigation by the House Ethics Committee, but apparently, he’s taken enough time away from creating trouble to try and drop some weight.

He was overheard at a swanky Manhattan shindig Tuesday night saying he’d been using Ozempic to lose weight, one source told Page Six.

And he was also allegedly heard bragging that he could beat his Capitol Hill rival Mitt Romney in a “cage match” because he knows jiu-jitsu (I’m sure), which led someone to suggest the two face off, obviously referring to the on-again, off-again cage match between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk.

Ozempic, which, along with Wegovy and Mounjaro, are drugs being used to treat Type 2 diabetes, and each is being touted as effective for weight loss. And of course, this means it’s all the rage among the Hollywood set.

Among those who admit to using Ozempic? “30 Rock” comedian Tracy Morgan, podcaster Claudia Oshry, talk show host Sharon Osbourne, and Fanatics mogul Michael Rubin.

A source hanging out at a birthday bash at the pricey eatery Bice for Park Magazine publisher Chris Pape said that Santos did indeed attend, and told his fellow guests that he’d lost weight with the help of the increasingly popular drug.

One insider told Page Six: “George said, ‘I’ve lost 92 pounds on Ozempic over the last eight months,” and added that his pharmacist boyfriend had mentioned worries about the medication, but that Santos claimed he’d “lost nearly 100 pounds” thanks to the drug.

A Santos spokesperson declined to comment on whether the congressman was using Ozempic but confirmed he attended the event, Page Six reports.

When the party guest joked to Santos that he ought to take on his rival, Sen. Mitt Romney (who is admittedly not an ardent fan of Santos) in a “cage match,” the source said that Santos responded, “I’d do that, but it wouldn’t be fair as I’m Brazilian, and I’d beat his butt because I studied jiu-jitsu for five years.”

And one spokesperson for the embattled congressman confirmed that Santos remembers the joke and mentioned he’d “participated in Brazilian jiu-jitsu as a young man.”

But jiu-jitsu won’t help one current situation he’s facing: Santos is dealing with a 13-count federal indictment for alleged fraud and money laundering, to which he’s pleading not guilty.

Santos is currently under a 13-count federal indictment for alleged fraud and money laundering, and he has pleaded not guilty.

Perhaps, since he is a supporter of Donald Trump, he feels he has something in common with the struggling former president. Especially since a source also told Page Six that Santos told guests he planned to watch Wednesday night’s GOP debate, just to “see what nonsense they use to attack Trump.”

Like his idol, Trump, Santos has a way of stretching the truth, and I’ve included a list of his lies here.
